Parapat is a mainstay tourist attraction in North Sumatra, from here we can see the beauty of Lake Toba and cross the island of Samosir, a small island in the middle of Lake Toba. Due to the enthusiasm of the local government to develop the tourism potential in this area so that many new tourist attractions have been developed, including the I LOVE Lake Toba park, this park has just been inaugurated about a few months ago and there are still many things that need to be addressed and become the attention of the project developer to further improve this park so that it will be even better in the future.
When we were on vacation last week and passing through Parapat City, we decided to stop for a moment and rest in this park. Very many visitors from various cities come to this park just to take pictures with this 'I LOVE DANAU TOBA' Background. So to be able to take pictures here you have to be patient and please queue because all visitors also want to take pictures here. Not only that, you can also take pictures at other interesting spots in this park or just sit and rest for a while on benches made of cement that are circular interspersed with snacks that you can buy along the way. paths around the park. And when we were there yesterday the weather was cloudy and it was raining a little so that we didn't take many photos optimally.
Because this park has just been inaugurated, the grass in this park has not yet shown its charm, meaning that the grass here has not thrived. It looks like the grass has just been planted. This type of Japanese grass has been planted on the sidelines of the cement benches that I have described, and if you look at the arrangement of the benches and the pattern of grass planting, I'm sure there will also be performances here to entertain visitors. but I don't know the exact schedule. Possibility for future projects considering that this park is not yet 100 percent complete.
Not only an interesting photo spot, in this park also if you bring your children you can rent a scooter or other children's toys or you can buy them for your little ones. However, when we got there, it had just rained so there were still a few children playing games here. While we were relaxing in this place, we also saw several Indonesian National Armed Forces or we often call them TNI, they are carrying out their duties, namely to socialize to visitors the importance of Vaccines and they are collaborating with the existing Health Service.
Because this park has just been inaugurated so many shops that should be rented out still look empty and there are still many scattered items that have not been cleaned up. Hopefully in the future this park will not be damaged and misused by visitors or irresponsible people and in the future hopefully the availability of trash cans will be a concern for the management so that there is not a lot of garbage scattered in this park. I am proud to be an Indonesian citizen.
