Exploring Lake Toba, which has fresh water and is one of the largest tourist attractions in North Sumatra, will never end, Lake Toba can be seen from various regions or regencies in North Sumatra. Some of the regencies that can enjoy the beauty of Lake Toba are: Simalungun Regency, Toba Regency, North Tapanuli Regency, Humbang Hasadungan Regency, Dairi Regency, Karo Regency and finally Samosir Regency. All of these regencies have tourist attractions with their own uniqueness to see the view of Lake Toba from a different point of view and a different culture.
During our trip, we will visit Dairi Regency, precisely in Silalahi Village. At first glance, Silalahi Village is almost similar to Paropo Village, but there are many differences from this place, one of which is a geographical problem, if Paropo Village is in Karo Regency, then Silalahi Village is in Dairi Regency.
Silalahi Village is also the only village that is directly in contact with Lake Toba, located right under the foothills of the row and we can touch it with our hands without looking from afar. This Silalahi Village is the perfect village to be able to enjoy the water of Lake Toba directly and enjoy the beauty of Bukit Barisan which is the perfect beauty of God's creation, extraordinary.
Not only that, before arriving at Pulo Silalahi Village, you will be presented with views of Lake Toba from a distance like the ocean. However, if the sea is salty, then Lake Toba has fresh water.
In this village, there are also many special camping areas for nature lovers, and family baths to enjoy the clear, fresh and clean water of Lake Toba. When the extreme hot weather is hitting the city of Medan right now, visiting this place is the right choice.
Besides we can enjoy the view of Bukit Barisan directly, we can also enjoy the fresh water of Lake Toba, enjoy many children's games there, take pictures and spend time with loved ones. For those of you who want a Honeymoon, here is a cool place, not too crowded and still very beautiful because there is not much development in Silalahi Village.
This Silalahi village is marked by the establishment of a monument that reads Pulo Silalahi. And to get to this village, the road that is taken is very smooth and not too winding, so it is safe for those of you who like motion sickness.
Because Lake Toba is a very well-guarded lake, so many freshwater fish populations live here. Especially freshwater fish, and Mujair fish are fish that are widely found in Lake Toba in this Silalahi Village.
Because of the large population of freshwater fish that exist, many anglers from various regions try their luck here, and of course the results are very satisfying. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we did not have time to capture too many of their fishing activities, because it was already very late in the day. And here there are also many carp and tilapia cages that are deliberately kept by local residents.
That's our trip on the island of Silalahi, you really have to come here. It's an amazing place. Lastly, warm greetings from us, Tomi Maya from Medan, Indonesia.
