Hey..hey, HIVE friends, see you again with us, don't be bored to keep following our posts and follow our journey which of course there are still many tourist spots that we haven't explored. Like this Sunday, the sunny weather supports our journey to explore the vast Langkat district.
Our current journey is still exploring the Bahorok sub-district, which last week we had not fully explored. And our choice fell to the Batu Katak tourist attraction. It is called Batu Katak tourism because this tourist attraction is located in Batu Katak Hamlet, Batu Jong-jong Berkail Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency.
The distance from Medan to the Batu Katak tourist area is about 2 hours in normal time. While the condition of the road when entering the Batu Katak area is not smooth because it has not been fully asphalted.
In this Batu Katak tourist attraction, we can explore a lot. One of them that we will post today is the natural bath. Not much different from Bukit Lawang, this natural bath at Batu Katak has a shallow depth, even shallower than Bukit Lawang Bath. We were able to cross the river without a bridge, and the small current and shallow depth of the water made it easy for us to cross the river quickly.
Because this natural bath is very shallow, many children play with tires and drift away on purpose using tires that are rented for Rp. 15,000 a day. And parents who witnessed them did not need to worry because the condition of the river water was not deep and flowing.
In this bathhouse, there is also a cottage rental facility with a rental price of Rp. 30,000 per cottage and is equipped with mats. Many toilets are also provided here for visitors who want to change clothes and want to defecate. There are also other facilities such as a prayer room and canteen. Although not as many as in Bukit Lawang.
When we arrived at this tourist attraction, many merchant shophouses were closed, due to the LOCKDOWN implementation in this area, even though there has actually been an official circular from the local government for several tourist attractions in Langkat that have been allowed to open, but because visitors are still very interested few people came, so the shop management decided to still close their wares.
Here, too, we can find several inns whose prices are still very affordable, starting from Rp. 150,000 to Rp. 250,000 with bathroom facilities in the room, and a standard bed without breakfast.
Or if you want to stay overnight and want a different sensation while saving money, you can set up a camping tent here for free without being charged. Entering the Batu Katak Tourism object, you don't need to spend a lot of money. Because in this place we are only charged a parking fee of Rp. 5000 and free entry.
When visiting this tourist attraction, keep it clean because it is our hands that pollute this beautiful tourist attraction, and overall this Batu Katak natural tourist attraction is very comfortable to visit and a recommendation for you. Happy Holidays to you, see you in the next post, always healthy for you and your family.
