In Banda Aceh City, after the tsunami tragedy that hit the city, as in our previous posts, there are many monuments in this city that remind us of how big the tsunami was and how big its impact was on people's lives in the city of Banda Aceh.
Of all the monuments that remind you of the tsunami tragedy in the city of Banda Aceh, the Tsunami museum, which is right in the center of Banda Aceh, is the museum that you must visit when you come to this city. This museum is located on Iskandar Muda Street, Sukaramai, Baiturahman District, Banda Aceh City. And in Indonesia, of course.
When looking at this building from a distance this building is very different from the surrounding buildings, very majestic and very striking with a very cool architecture and this building is made to resemble a large ship. To enter this museum, visitors will be divided into 3 groups, namely groups of students/children/students, groups of adults and groups of foreign guests. For the Adult group, the entrance ticket is priced at Rp. 5000 or equivalent to U$ 0, 3 Dollars, for groups of children/students or students, the entrance ticket will be valued at Rp. 3000 and for foreign guests the ticket price is more expensive by Rp. 15,000 or the equivalent of U$ 1 Dollar. After we queue and pay for the entrance ticket we will be given a card to enter the building.
The first time we enter this building, the atmosphere is sad, the music of the waves is heart-wrenching, the dark alleys from which the walls gush water like duplicates of small waves, these dark alleys will remind visitors of the Tsunami incident, where the situation was tense, dark, quiet. and full of fear. After passing through this tsunami tunnel, we will enter the next dark tunnel, this dark tunnel towers upwards, when viewed from outside this dark tunnel is in the form of a chimney. In this dark alley, we will find thousands of names who have been evacuated and whose identities are clear as victims of the tsunami.

Exiting this chimney we can continue walking and enter other rooms that display all the documentation about the tsunami tragedy, but there is also a billboard there which shows the cheerful face of Banda Aceh about the amazing charm of tourism. Keep walking until we almost exit the building, we will find a bridge that is very suitable for taking pictures here, under the bridge there is a fish pond, and above the bridge there are several countries that helped the tsunami recovery process in Banda Aceh City, Indonesia.
There are a total of 53 countries that helped the tsunami recovery process in Banda Aceh City, is one of them your country? I thank you for that. And actually there are many more cool spaces in this tsunami museum. You have to see it for yourself, we are waiting for your arrival here.
