Beach.. beach.. Beach.. don't ever get bored to see our post about the beach while on vacation in Banda Aceh ago, the beach is a mainstay tourist attraction in Nangroe Aceh Darussalam Province. There are so many beaches, every step of our journey to pass through towns and even villages, in general, all pass through the beach, and the beaches in Banda Aceh City are very beautiful and still very beautiful to be enjoyed.
My husband and I are now going to share about the views and conditions of the seaside at Turtle Beach in Banda Aceh City. When we first entered this beach, we were curious about the name of the beach, is there really a turtle hatchery here or is it just a name. Curious about that, we asked one of the traders on this beach.
Before the Tsunami that occurred in Banda Aceh City in 2004, this beach was a turtle breeding place, starting from the nursery to releasing the turtles back into the sea. However, after the Tsunami until now, there is no longer any turtle breeding on this beach, even though this beach is still known as the turtle beach. Even when we enter this beach, we can still see banners showing the turtles on this beach.
The waves on this beach are not too big, the waves that are carried to the mainland have small rolls, even this beach is not suitable for surfing, but that is what makes the attraction of tourists to come to this place, especially for those who bring children. so it is not too dangerous when they play sea water on the shores of this Turtle Beach. However, even though on this beach the waves are not too big, there have been several incidents on this beach that caused fatalities. Most of the fatalities on this beach were school students who held a study tour on this beach and were swept away by the waves. So no matter how small the waves we still have to be careful of course.
Talking about the beach must also not be separated from the color of the sand, the color of the sand on this turtle beach is not as white as the beach in the Lokhnga Sea. And the sand here has a coarse texture. Maybe because during our vacation in Banda Aceh City, we have visited many seas, so seeing this turtle beach as usual in our opinion, there is nothing too special to describe, moreover the name of this beach that makes beach visitors curious turns out to be just a name, we don't get any turtles here, maybe in the future the manager should be able to open the Turtle Hatchery on this beach, to attract more visitors.
The facilities on this beach are also still below standard, there is only one restaurant here, with many cottages, so visitors are expected to bring their own food from home. The canteen also only provides young coconut and snacks, as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee.
This is a picture of the turtle beach in Banda Aceh City, hopefully it can add to your references if you are going on vacation in Banda Aceh City, greetings from us Tomi and Maya from BInjai City Indonesia, healthy and always happy for you, thank you for supporting us and stay tuned for our next trip never get bored.
