For me, a holiday to visit a place is not just about staying in a hotel room and sleeping until noon then eating and sleeping again then shopping, but for me a holiday is about exploring various places even though the place is hidden and there is no means of transportation there. Because in my opinion, the use of time during vacation is very meaningful and I don't necessarily return to that place with the same opportunity. My destination for this year's holiday is West Sumatra, a province next to my province, North Sumatra. To board my plane it only takes 2 hours by transit. However, I chose to ride my motorbike for 2 days because there were many places I could visit before arriving at West Sumatra.
After arriving in West Sumatra and taking a short break, I decided to get some fresh air for a moment at this tourist spot in West Sumatra, namely the largest lake in West Sumatra, namely Lake Singkarak. When compared with Lake Toba in my province, this lake is actually nothing. However, don't be afraid if we compare these things in one place then we won't enjoy this trip.
If I went around Lake Singkarak I wouldn't be able to, so I decided to stop at one of the family recreation areas on this lake, namely TAN KAYO. In this recreation area, we have many interesting photo spots, one of which is a canoe photo spot as if we were on the bridge of a ship, but that is just a photo spot. This photo spot is in great demand by visitors and to be able to enjoy the photo spot here we have to queue to cross the bamboo bridge with the notification that for photos on the ship's bridge the maximum is 3 people for the safety of visitors. This is because the bridge and ship's bridge are made of material. which easily collapses.
If you bring your family and children, there is a swimming pool where the water flows and is taken directly from Lake Singkarak itself. And because this pool is intended for children, we don't need to worry about our children being afraid of drowning. Apart from bathing in the pool, enjoying the view, if you like camping, here you can also camp with the camping materials that have been provided. You can also relax in the cafe with a variety of menus on sale and at fairly cheap prices without draining your pockets.
In this place, if you want to stay overnight, there is accommodation for Rp. 500,000 per night. And for the entrance ticket to this recreation area we are charged Rp. 15,000 per person and that includes free parking. So do you think this place is worth visiting with family or backpackers? Oh yes, I almost forgot, for you backpackers, don't worry because in West Sumatra you can rent motorbikes or cars at affordable prices. Because in West Sumatra everything is very cheap. If there is anything you want to ask, please write in the comments. Greetings Maytom. Indonesia
