The gorgeous place with an awesome culture of beaches is the heaven of the lovers and the people who want to experience an adventure, the Cebu city. One day I was, trying to get a back door, and I got one, a good beach with a green mangrove, and what was the best of all? There was no entrance fee! This experience also enabled me to not only get to see the beauty of the nature, but also open my eyes to the tranquility that Cebu can bring.
This is among the sunny mornings that I went out to visit this beach which is not very much known by many people. The trip was full of anticipations and eagerness since it was to the distant regions where the tourist centers did not exist. I could not pass on my way to the coast and not to express my heart beating watching how the blue sea is shining in the sun. The air smelled fresh with the sea wind and I could feel the calmness of what I was going to feel. At the time I arrived there was a feeling of tranquility that followed. It was also a clean beach with white soft sand along the sea. I was also very pleased to know that such a beautiful place was accessible to everyone. The ever-present sound of the waves in the shore was like some soothing melody and this melody as soon as it began, put me in a state of rest.
The other typical aspect of this beach was the mangroves very numerous on the coast. The piqued color of leaves of these magnificent trees with their twisted roots was a wonderful contrast to blue water. I had been walking peacefully across the beach admiring the mangroves and the variety of wildlife which has been sustained by the mangroves. I saw also crabs that ran in the sand and bright birds which moved in the branches. I also ventured into the mangrove forest when I enquired about the mangrove ecosystem. The air was cool and fresh, and the shadow of the trees a welcome of the sun. I felt that I was another world, a world where there was a harmonious nature. The mangroves possessed complicated root systems and this provided me with the natural chance to investigate it and I could only gaze at the beauty of the world around.
Then arrived with the book a good one after I had been exploring. The thing best was to sit and listen to the whipping against the shore, and the rustling of the leaves in the air. I sat in the sun and I was experiencing the sun on my skin and its music on my body as the nature was pacifying me. It was an unconditional joy, far better than the hurly and burly of day to day life. I had rest periods during the day, in order to have my feet in the cool water. The beach was strangely not crowded and I had room to relax and enjoy my calmness. I even took picnic where I enjoyed the loveliness of fresh fruits and had a view of the horizon. The afternoon was such an alternate to the wonderful sceneries and the good food.
Just as the sun was setting and giving the sky the dash of the colors of orange and pink I started reflecting on my day. The isolated beach and its mangroves and picturesque setting had given me the much needed rest which had been a cooling breeze after the noise and bustle of the urban life. I was happy to have a chance to become a part of the nature and to admire beauty of the world around me.
That is why I still recollect my visit to mangrove beach of Cebu because nature has such innocent gifts. Everyone was free to enjoy it since it did not involve admission fee and as such more people will be able to enjoy the beauty. It was a experience of thanksgiving and experience of serenity, which I would have happily revisited this lost paradise. I should like to recommend them all to see these by-ways as they are here that we are most apt to identify ourselves with nature and ourselves.
