Moalboal is a jewel and this is because it is situated at south western Cebu Philippines and owed to the fact that it has beautiful beaches, colorful underwater world and relaxed environment. I am lucky enough to visit this tropical paradise recently and it was a magical visit. I felt that I was at home because when I came there because of the beauty of the view and the goodness of the locals. In this instance, I am forced to discuss a trip I visited called Moalboal, activities I have done and the experience I had which I will never forget whenever I refer to this visit.
This was completely different as I was travelling in Cebu City to Moalboal. The city lifestyle and the busy streets have been replaced by the woods and the beautiful scenes of the sea. After a few hours of travelling I finally reached my destination. The smell of the ocean in the air and carbonating waves on the beach were my welcomes.
When I finally got to my place of stay that is a beautiful hotel on the beach, I was served of a cool welcome drink by well-wishers. My room was facing the ocean and I could not believe my eyes to see the ocean and I was anticipating to see the beach that was just outside my door.
I first of all, having settled down, proceeded to the beach. Sand was very fine and powdery and waters of the turquoise were sparkling in the merciless sunshine. I was afraid to imbibe in the beauty of the things adjacent to me, the palm trees, which were swayed by the wind, the laugh of other people on the beach and the wonder of the horizon.
I decided to dive into the sea. The water was shouting and warm and I was instantly overtaken with this feeling of relaxation. I was amazed at the radiant marine life that was literally under water when I was swimming. I was able to watch the fish of every color swimming in the spot and I was anxious to find out more about what Moalboal had to offer.
The fact that I got a chance to snorkel in Pescador Island that is only some few minutes away by boat in Moalboal is one of the activities that I enjoyed during my trip. I did a group guided tour that was accommodative to other tourists and we started early in the morning and made the best out of our day.
Our approach to the island was astonishing as we went through the water beauty. The blue colours were mesmerising and I was barely able to contain myself to jump in. Upon arrival, we received the snorkeling equipment and safety precautions were explained to us. When I finally got there in the water, I was brought to a new atmosphere where I was in a bright under water world.
they had all the life one could get in the school of colorful fish in the coral reefs, and there was also passing a school of reef sharks and sea turtles as elegant as they were agile. It was just but a dream because I was flying through the corals with amazement at the beauty of marine ecosystem. It was a very thrilling and motivating experience and something that made me understand that we ought to preserve our oceans. I was also able to take time and appreciate nature as I had a swim somewhere I was undisturbed. The shades were also offered by the trees in the area and I took my time to consider the tremendous moments that I had already experienced in my trip. It was the ideal revival of my love of traveling, and it is something new to experience, to enjoy nature and leave memories that would last.
As the sun was setting I went back to Moalboal to sleep. It was on golden sun and I was able to find a very comfortable place where I could view the sunset. The sky was painted in orange, pink and purple canvas forming a spectacular background. I had a chance to observe such beauty in this instance. As the sun was setting on the horizon, I was so much determined to make a discovery of the eating scene in the neighborhood. I have discovered a beachfront restaurant where one may get fresh seafoods and traditional Filipino food. I had rice and grilled fish and a serving of the local vegetables. The food was excellent with every bite and the tastes made me feel that I was in the warmth and the warmth of the Philippine.
My visit to Moalboal was a lovely break on the mundane. The three factors that comprised savoury beaches, colourful life at the sea and the friendly nature of the people made it a memorable moment. The past thoughts were filling and now I am watching the beauty of nature in a different light. When I got my bags packed to get away, I felt like I was missing going back. Moalboal was now in love with me and I was aware that it was only going to be the beginning of my adventures in the Philippines. I vowed within myself that I would go back there and have a glimpse of what this beautiful country could bring to me.
Moalboal, Cebu is a real heaven to the adventure travelers, relaxation and nature. The beauty of our world was reminding me of the beauty of our planet and this was because of the scenery of the beautiful beaches, the colorful life under the water all the seconds of being in this tropical paradise. It is possible to say that Moalboal can do something to any person regardless of whether he/she is a true diver, a beach lover or just wants to forget about the stress and busy life.
I would suggest Moalboal to any person who wishes to travel to the Philippines. It will be lifetime impressions that you will make here and as far as you would wish the beauty of the island. Until next time, Moalboal!
