In this blog, I will talk about my visit to Lambug Beach and mention the aspects that make it special.
The minute I got to Lambug Beach, I was amazed by the soft white beach and the transparent waters. Being tucked away from many tourists adds to the beauty of the place. Upon entering the beach, I immediately noticed the waves and how the sun was shining on me. Just a few people were on the beach, so the place felt peaceful and I could notice all the natural things nearby.
One of my first steps was walking calmly next to the waterfront. My feet were on the sand, and it was so inviting that I had to stick my toes in the cool water. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the stunning blue and green in the ocean and was totally absorbed by its beauty. I spent time collecting natural treasures and taking photos so I could save the memory.
After finishing my walk, I chose to have some local food. Around the area, you can find some local places that serve Filipino food, including types of fresh seafood. I enjoyed cooking and eating grilled fish served with rice and some fresh vegetables. Food at the restaurant was amazing, and sitting with the ocean view made it the best meal possible.
Relaxation is not the only thing you can do at Lambug Beach since there are several water activities on offer. There were a few colorful fish seen swimming underwater, which made me remember the variety of marine animals in this part of the ocean. Some people might find that slowly floating in the ocean or sinking into a book while laying on the beach is as enjoyable as participating in other ocean activities. The soft wind and sounds from the waves help make the area a great place to relax.
After some time, I headed back to the ocean to witness the sunset happen. Colors of orange, pink, and purple glowed in the sky and kindly reflected on the water. The scene took my breath away and left me amazed. I relaxed on the sand and appreciated being able to see this natural area.
After visiting, I felt gratitude for everything I saw and swore to visit this place again. Lambug Beach is a place you definitely do not want to miss if you ever visit Cebu.
