North Sky Beach Resort is located along the northeastern coastline of Cebu, just a few hours’ drive from the city. It’s a beachfront property nestled between coconut trees and natural surroundings, offering a stunning view of the sea and easy access to fresh air and peaceful silence, it also has a pool. We went there on a weekend, and it was the perfect time to disconnect from all the noise of the week and enjoy some rest and good vibes.
From the moment we arrived, the place gave off a calming and refreshing vibe. Surrounded by nature, the resort offers a simple but beautiful escape from the usual noise of daily life. The air breeze, the view of the pool, and the soft rustle of the trees around made everything feel slow and peaceful. The resort isn't overly fancy but that’s what makes it feel warm and real. It’s the kind of place where you can just sit back, breathe deeply, and feel grateful for the moment.
We didn’t plan anything big, just time to relax, enjoy the view, and eat good food. After settling in, we ordered some burger and fries and a sizzling plate of sisig. Let me just say, the food really hit the spot! The burgers were tasty and juicy, with a generous amount of fries that we happily munched on while enjoying the salty air. It was the perfect comfort food combo.
But the real star was the sisig served hot on a sizzling plate with a perfectly cooked egg on top. It was flavorful, creamy, and had just the right kick of spice. Paired with the relaxing beach view and a cold drink, it turned into one of those meals you’ll keep craving long after the trip is over.
The rest of our short stay was spent just enjoying the place. Whether we were sitting under the trees, walking along the pool, or simply watching the sorrounding, every part of the resort had something relaxing to offer. No loud music, no busy crowd just the sound of nature and the wind.
Even though it was just a short vacation, my visit to North Sky Beach Resort gave me the perfect pause. It reminded me that sometimes, a simple place with fresh air, good food, and a peaceful environment is more than enough. If you ever need a quick escape, especially before heading back to work or school, this little spot in Sogod might be exactly what you need too
