Hi guys, I am back with traveling experience rather than foodstuff and vegetables as usual. And I am happy to share with you my latest trip to Malaysia, just a couple of months before the Covid 19 outbreak.
You know, I and my husband have itchy feet. We love to go to faraway destinations to learn about culture, and our greatest joy is to sit together and plan our own itinerary carefully for every trip. Our time in Malaysia was really enjoyable as we had the opportunity to communicate with local people on a daily basis, try out the country's special cuisine and discover many interesting corners of the city.
Now, let's go
I was so amazed by how spacious the airport in Kular Lumpur was. With a forest at the heart of the airport, I felt extremely close to nature
Our first meal was Nasi Lemak, a national dish
After that, we took the bus to go straight to Melaka, one of the most visited cities located in Southwestern Malaysia. When we arrived at the hotel, it had already been dark, so we just go for a walk to find a place for dinner.
As Melaka is famous for ancient buildings with colorfully painted walls, we spent the next day wandering the locality and immersing ourselves in the unique beauty of the surroundings
Melaka river
Nothing was better than being surrounded by the greenery
One of the most impressive paintings to us
I fell in love with this place already
Melaka at night
Melaka Straits Mosque
We had to be in the required costume to go inside
Saying goodbye to the tranquility, we got back to Kuala Lumpur to enjoy the hectic lifestyle of the bustling city
Our first stop was a famous restaurant for fish head curry
The iconic building of the city- the Twin Tower
The Central Market
Couldn't resist this temptation :)))
A very typical breakfast. I was excited to use my hand for it like everyone around.
How colorful it was
A corner of a street market
The Thean Hou Temple
Do you see how my dress well matched them :)))
We ended our trip with a big meal
Malaysia, we will come back to you in a not-too-distant future <3
