Morning Walk in Klaten Lantern Park
Hi travellers, welcome to my blog again.
Yesterday, I stopped by the Lantern Park in Klaten, but not at night like most people... I went early in the morning, when it was still cool and not too crowded. At first, I wasn't too interested, but since I passed by there yesterday (on my way home), I suddenly became a bit curious, "What's going on there if the lanterns aren't lit yet?" It turned out to be a very different experience, and actually had its own interesting aspects.
When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the serene atmosphere.. The park is strategically located, easy to find and has a spacious parking area. As I entered, I was immediately greeted by the sight of lanterns hanging in the parking lot.
At the entrance, we pass through a lantern bridge. This bridge resembles a Shinto shrine gate in Japan, but a budget version hahaha..
After crossing the Japanese style bridge, I discovered various playgrounds for children. The parks are located quite far apart, each with its own unique charm...
Besides the park, there are lots of fun places to explore, like this mushroom, cute, right? Hahaha. And many others too.
In one of the parks, I saw a really cool statue made of iron..!! The statue resembled the character "Gatot Kaca" holding a bow and arrow. But personally, I saw it as "Iron Man" holding a bow and arrow...!! It was so similar hahaha.
As the name suggests, this lantern park features a variety of lanterns. Without the glaring lights, the details of each lantern are much clearer. The colorful lanterns still look bright and attractive under the morning sunlight.
You could say that the morning is the perfect time if you want to relax and just focus on enjoying the lantern art without the crowds. I can walk casually, observing each lantern one by one. It felt like being in a unique and colorful sculpture garden.
In addition to the lanterns, there are also many vendors in the park area that open in the morning. They sell a variety of foods, from traditional market snacks to full breakfast. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take photos because I was too busy enjoying a leisurely walk in the park hahaha...
My experience visiting Lantern Park in the morning was far from boring..!! Even though the lanterns are not lit, it's charm remained. The place is the right choice for a leisurely walk, breakfast or just getting some fresh air... You can capture moments with photos featuring the bright, colorful lantern backgrounds. So, if someday you find yourself in Klaten and want to find a relaxing spot in the morning, the Lantern Park is a destination you must try.!!

Who is Nur Satrio ?
Hi, I'm Tio, a lover of stories, whether written on the pages of a book, presented in adventurous games, or engraved in the incredibly beautiful nature of Indonesia. In my free time, I like to immerse myself in fictional worlds, build small worlds by assembling Gundam models, and explore new places that offer fresh air and soothing views.
For me, life is not about how fast we run, but how much beauty we get to enjoy along the way. I believe that every book has a universe, every journey has a story, and every second we spend in nature is a quiet expression of gratitude that calms the heart.
