Happy Ramadan to all
My cousin had a flight on Saturday. He had to fly from Islamabad to Dubai. When we reached the airport, we found that our flight was delayed. The next flight was at 11 pm. So we took advantage of the opportunity and headed to Faisal Masjid. Since we were also fasting, we thought there. But they will break their fast.
A few days ago I was reading a post in which this was revealed that Faisal Mosque is the sixth largest mosque in the world.
My biggest desire was to visit Faisal Masjid. Which was about to be fulfilled. I was very excited. When I reached there, my eyes fell on the mosque for the first time, and the first word that came out of my mouth was "Mashallah". God also had some special grace on him.
Camera of my mobile is so worst so I captured all the pics on my cousin's mobile
It wasn't dark yet so I wanted to get a good picture of it from every angle. But it was so big that my mobile barely fit the picture.
It was about six and it was time to break the fast. There were many other people besides us, some of whom had come for a walk and some for breaking the fast. The administration here first started keeping water bottles here.
After laying the sheets on floor, they slowly started serving the food. We mentioned the name of Allah and sat down to break the fast.
By the grace of Allah, there were so many people here that I could not even count them. This is a great reward for whoever organized the Iftar.
I'm not that fond of taking my own pictures, so I rarely take pictures of myself.
The weather was slightly warm. But as the time for Maghrib Azan increased, the weather started to cool.
After breaking the fast, we prayed Maghrib. When we came out after praying, it was quite dark. All the lights of the mosque were turned on. Which added four moons to the beauty of this mosque.
The lights in it's yard were adorning it's beauty. No onlooker could remain without admiring it.
Since it was quite late in the night, all of it's parts were not very visible, but when I went a little further, it's whole view was very visible.
While looking at the mosque, suddenly my eyes fell on the sky, on which the moon appeared very high. At the same time, I saw the moon on the top of the mosque.
In the courtyard of the mosque, there were stone sheets on which the surahs of the Holy Quran were written. I did not think it was appropriate to make a picture facing them, but my cousin did it with great enthusiasm.
My cousin's flight time was approaching. So we hurriedly did as much sightseeing as possible. Then we said goodbye to Faisal Masjid and I took one last picture while leaving. And then we left for the airport.
Here we said Good bye to my cousin and left for home. I was very sad because he was not only my cousin but also my best freind.
I was feeling very happy because my big dream had come true. And I was telling everyone again and again that I visited Faisal Masjid today. He has gone to Dubai. Therefore, I immediately transferred the pictures to my mobile phone.
All the pictures I used in my blog are captured by me.
Hope so guyz you will enjoy my blog. Thanks for reading.
