Hello friends!
In my previous blog i talked about radhanagar beach of Havelock island which is the most beautiful and famous beach of asia. Today I'm going to share about one more beautiful beach which is also at Havelock island named elephant beach. Elephant beach is also a key attraction for tourists at andman and nicobar islands.
How we reached there :
As i described previously First we took flight for portblair. Than via ferry we came Havelock island from portblair. For elephant beach we take a boat of sharing bases which takes roughly 20-30 minutes.
These 20-30 minutes were awesome. Feel like cool Breeze giving welcome hug for elephant beach 😜
Before boat arrived we captured some pictures there.
About elephant beach :
Elephant beachside is the most visited ocean side in the Andaman archipelago. This beach is perfect for water activities. It has a rich and colorful underwater coral reef and marine life.
When i listen the name of this beach i wonder why elephant beach than i searched about it. I read that elephant used to roam the islands quite a while ago and elephants were used to bring people to the beach due to the lack of transport facilities. This is why it got the name Elephant beach.
I found this beach different from other beaches ( corbyn's cove beach and radhanagar beach). Where on corbyn's cove beach has only one resturant and some water activities, and on radhanagar beach I don't see anything like these. We feel so calm and relax on that beaches.
There elephant beach is quite different. This beach is famous for water activities. We can see rush here and many refreshments stall there.

Watersport activities at elephant beach :
For watersports activities elephant beach is perfect destination. You can enjoyed many watersports activity including banana boat ride, parasailing, jet skiing, scuba diving, sofa ride , snorkeling, glass bottom boat ride etc.
Jet ski:
First we enjoyed jet skiing. This is a activity of riding accross water on scooter. While skiing a guide available who set behind us and guide and control the jet ski.
I was so nearous and excited too before this experience. While jet skiing the motion of going up and down against the waves making me nervous. But at the same moment give the ultimate joy and unforgettable experience.
It was really a trilled experience to enjoyed on a scooter on the waves of the sea .
Sofa ride:
Sofa ride is also one of the best water sports. Where you can enjoy this ride with your loved once.
During sofa ride a sofa tightly secured to a speed boat . Than the boat pulled sofa on the waves with full speed. This ride gave an amazing trill and refreshing feeling.
It was a thrilling session which i enjoyed alot.
Elephant beach is the busiest of all the beaches at Havelock island. If you want to experienced water sports activities than this is the best beach. You can easily spend 7 days at Andaman to enjoy the beauty.
