Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. Today I went for a walk to the Mondego walkways. The walkways are really beautiful. I'll tell you and show you a little about these wonderful walkways in Portugal 😊
Excellent "tour" of 12 kms. Fantastic views. Quality signage and high quality information to get to know the surroundings. Going back to "round trip".
I strongly recommend a walk along the 12 km of the footbridge. 1Euro I found a symbolic value that will help in the conservation of a true work of art.
An incredible place to enjoy and visit.
Lose yourself in its walkways, suspension bridges, sounds of nature, etc. It's been amazing!
Pay attention, as there are still 12 km of extension and about 110 floors of ascent, practically all by stairs, which requires a minimum of physical conditioning.
I recommend bringing water and something to eat in case you get hungry or need comfortable shoes and clothes for walking.
They are the best I've seen in Portugal. Beautiful landscapes and trail always next to the river. Walking around in the morning with the sound of running water is spectacular. It costs to climb the 702 steps next to the dam.
A huge challenge! We did the round trip for a total of 4h30min, which surpass the Paiva footbridges in terms of difficulty. The final stage was the climb up the stairs of the Caldeirao dam, where the heartbeat accelerated, but the focus was there and it was overcome!
The design and structure of this route are very well elaborated, however it took me a while for the lack of some benches to be able to carry out a nutritional boost and also strategically in some viewpoints or wider areas.
I hope you enjoyed it, see you soon friends 😃
