It is one of our practices here in the Philippines that great achievement is to be celebrated.
For this month's family triumph, my ever-supportive sister-in-law opted to let us enjoy the 2-night and 3-day stay at a 5-star hotel, The Waterfront Hotel at Lahug, Cebu City. The entire family on my hubby's side was given this astonishing treat.

The Commencement Exercises and the Pinning Ceremony of our niece who is taking up a Bachelor of Science in Nursing were held at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City.

This day was valuable to our family as this was considered a great treasure and achievement that was worth celebrating. Families from the USA went home here in the Philippines to celebrate this great success that has been unlocked.
Since we are residing in the province, we need to travel for 3 hours and 30 minutes by commute in going to the city. We went to the city ahead of time for our convenience. Upon our arrival at SM City, we took a taxi to take us to our destination. We paid Php 128.00 for the fare.
In this blog, I'm going to share how impressive this commercial establishment is and our remarkable stay in this fantastic hotel.

We arrived late in the evening and together with RM, we passed this obligatory security check scanner before we entered. I appreciate their safety measures as this is to make sure that everybody who is inside is safeguarded well.
The Elegant Lobby Lounge
The aureate lights and the elegant looking of the lobby lounge star struck me. The mellow songs heard turned my mood into great relaxation and the aromatic smell of the area enlightened my senses. This is the welcoming ambiance of the hotel's lobby.
Because I'm a rover, I reached the magnificent north wing of its lobby lounge. The stylish walls, the well-painted ceilings, and the unique designs of the flooring are cool and amazing to look at. The magical lights add vibrance, and the benches that are lavishly surrounded with dazzling lights are seen at the corners.
People can sit back here, empty their minds, and be relished by gazing at the great murals that are captivating to one's senses. These picturesque paintings are so fantastic that appeared so real.
At the center of the lobby lounge, presentable seats are arranged in a square style enough to cater to customers who love to chit-chat. Prominent people and even businessmen used to be meeting at this section.
Moving to the right part of its lobby lounge, Pacific Grand Ballroom is waiting in solitude. It is huge that it can hold hundreds of audience inside.
Where do these stairways lead us?
The alluring design of the stairways leads me to wonder what is waiting at the upper part. For affluent people who love to gamble, this is the perfect spot for fun and leisure, the Casino Filipino.
The outside part of it is attractive, the floor is carpeted, and inside are the different games that will be played by the wealthy people.
The Elevator Sections
The dazzling elevator sections in each of the levels are designed well for the convenience and safety of the users. Impressive lights at the forefront are comfortable to our eyes and the emergency lights are set accordingly.
Well-framed rectangular mirrors are placed in front so we can enjoy taking a glance at ourselves before we headed upward or downward. I like self-checking while waiting.
Waterfront Hotel is considered an old building however, it never failed to keep on impressing its avid customers. It remains to be striking especially its architectural designs, services, and accommodations.
The Family Rooms
We rented the Superior Room which costs Php5,525.00 per night with free breakfast for 2 persons.
Two beds are provided in its family room. I love the cleanliness inside. Its comfort room is better enough in addressing our needs.
The Front Desk
Check-in and other transactions are entertained well in this section. The employees are good at entertaining the audience and are always wearing their contagious smiles.
The Restaurant
If you opted to have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner inside, you can dine in at their restaurant that offers delicious and nutritious foods.
Inside, you can see a bigger space that can entertain a lot of customers. Plenty of seats are arranged in a square style.
The swimming pool
The best for unwinding for me, is their outside pool. Since we have our kids with us, we let them enjoy themselves by allowing them to go swimming in their splendid pool.
The swimming pool is located on the lower ground. Upon arrival, we registered our room name and room number so we use the free towels.
Upon entering the pool zone, the green scenery that was cool and amazing to our inner peace gladly greeted us first. The magical landscape having the towering buildings as the background is pretty amazing. Green from nature is truly the best.
Their swimming pool has a wide area, the surrounding is clean and appealing. There are enough seats that can be used for your convenience.
The best workout room
If you love to maintain a healthy body, their gym offers different equipment which will fit your need. This is situated on the lower ground before reaching the swimming pool.
Stop and Shop Section
For souvenir lovers, shopping stores are available. Printed t-shirts of Cebu's famous landmark can be bought at this boutique.
No worries if you run out of clothes to wear or other stuff needed as there are stores where you can shop for your needs.
This section displayed fashioned and authentic jewelry. You can choose any of these incredible trinkets or costly jewelry depending on your taste.
Restrooms
For personal calls and necessities, there are plenty of restrooms at the corners of the lobby. They are presentable and have been sanitized always for the customers' health protection.
If I'm going to rate our stay here, it would be a 10/10. I love everything that they offered from the cool temperature, the parking area, the free internet connection, and other amenities that had given us all the pleasure we need.
The Waterfront Hotel can be the best venue for big occasions that will give satisfaction to their clients and customers. This is truly Cebu City's pride.
Our stay here truly made a difference to our well-being. I was able to experience a calmer atmosphere and their services and accommodations hit our expectations.
