What did you do on New Year's Eve? Last New Year's Eve I took the whole family to one of the beaches in my city. We visited Watu Kodhok Beach together.
Watu Kodhok Beach
For those of you who are curious why this beach is named Watu Kodhok Beach because there are two cliffs that are shaped like frogs on the west and east sides of the beach. The coastline is wide and long with very clean white sand. And the waves are like other beaches, very suitable for those of you who like to play in the water. There are many pine trees and sea pandanus on the beach that we can use for shelter and rest. Many gazebos were built around the beach, this gazebo was built to support the facilities of this beach, of course to attract tourists. In addition, this beach is also suitable for camping. Tents can be erected along the coastline or in the beach area, because this place is indeed wide.
A few days ago before New Year's Eve I rented a villa to stay.
That day I left at twelve in the afternoon and arrived at the beach around two.
Arriving at the beach, my family and I decided to rest first, we rested in one of the villa owners' gazebos that I rented. We all ordered food and drink. After resting for a while, my family and I decided to go down to the beach and play in the water.

You can see from the picture that I shared, many beach visitors make tents in the beach area. For this tent you can rent it or bring it from home if you have one.
The very hot weather still makes them excited to go down to the beach,put up a tent and play in the water.

After being satisfied playing water and sand we all immediately cleaned up and rested.
After finishing resting, my family and I decided to walk up the hill. This hill is not far from the beach and the villa. On the hill there is a photo spot for the boat, the boat was deliberately placed on the hill. The view is very good, and charming. From the top of the hill there we can see the coastline and the sea is very wide.

On the hill there is a small cafe, this place is perfect for those of you who like to hang out and drink coffee. You can also take photos here.

After we were satisfied taking pictures, we all went back down and rested in the villa. In the evening I returned to the top of the hill, to enjoy the view at night.

The price of admission to Kodhok beach is 10 thousand rupiah. That includes tickets to enter other beaches in the area. The price for parking is only 5 thousand rupiah.
The address for Watu Kodhok Beach is located in the hamlet of Banjarejo, Tanjung Sari Village, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta.
For those of you who like the beach, I recommend this place for you to visit.The place is still beautiful and the air is cool, the prices for food and drinks are also relatively cheap, the food is also delicious.
