Hello friends, I hope you all are fine and everything is fine and your life is going well.
Friends, today I went with my father to my sister's in-laws house which is in Jageshwar. After meeting my sister, I went to Jageshwar temple with my sister's children where there was a lot of crowd. Friends, a famous festival is celebrated there which is called Harela. And after the day of Harela, the month of Sawan starts for the people of Uttarakhand and a lot of importance is given to the month of Sawan in Uttarakhand. In this month, people do not eat any non-vegetarian food and this month lasts only for one month.
Friends, initially there is not much crowd here but on Mondays it is very crowded, on that day people come here from far away places, Shiva is worshipped in Jageshwar temple, women take 16 Mondays for the long life of their husbandsAnd girls take it to get a good husband. Friends, there is no permission to take photos inside the temple, but I will show you all a photo taken by my sister in which there is a picture of Shiv Linga.Because his family watches the worship rituals at this temple, he took a photo here.
Come friends, let me tell you some things about Jageshwar Dham which I have read in my book and I have received some things from my sister.
There are 125 small and big temples in Jageshwar Dham Temple. Out of these temples, some of the main temples are Dandeshwar Temple, Chandi Temple, Jageshwar Temple, Kuber Temple, Mrityunjay Temple, Nanda Devi or Nav Durga, Navgrah Temple and Surya Temple etc.Jageshwar Dham is located in the Almora district of Uttarakhand, and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is surrounded by dense deodar forests and is situated on the banks of the Jata Ganga river. It is said that the roots of the deodar have a source of water. The temples here were built between the 9th and 13th centuries AD, and some temples were also renovated later. All this is also mentioned in our books and the entire history of Jageshwar is told. The architecture of the temples here is very attractive, and these temples made of stones are very strong and beautiful. 108 Shivlingas are also established in Jageshwar Dham, which are considered to be self-manifested. And the structure of Jageshwar temple and Kedarnath temple looks similar.
There is a water pool here in which leaves of a plant are sticking out. It is said that if you wish for something and throw a coin in this leaf and if the coin gets stuck in the leaf, then your wish gets fulfilled.
And many people have made small mounds of stones on the banks of the river, from where people also make wishes.

People come here with their families to perform Parati Puja and worship Lord Shiva. Huge havan kunds have also been built here.
People also ask for their wishes after tying the Chunari of the Mother Goddess, as you all must be seeing how many Chunariyas people have tied.
And friends, here people also organize Bhandara on their own and feed food to the people who visit the temple.
