Me and some friends are planning a trip to the Gayo highlands area, which is an area that has mountainous natural scenery and several tourist attractions are also there, a few days earlier we had planned this trip, on the day that was planned, we went to this place. In this case, by riding a motorbike we moved from our respective homes and met at a predetermined place. And we continued our journey, we estimated that it took us about two hours to arrive at our destination, half of our journey was through climbing roads, because we passed through hills close to mountains, this is where landslides are very prone to occur and on the left and right there are deep ravines, as well as readiness motorbikes, if there is a problem with a motorbike, there is no repair shop nearby, so before leaving the motorbike must be thoroughly re-examined the condition of the engine, brakes, tires, and several components of the motorbike that must be considered for readiness.
After arriving at a road that continues to rise and fall around the mountains, we are faced with foggy road conditions, visibility must be disturbed, and we have to turn on the motorcycle headlights, actually I wanted to take pictures of the natural atmosphere around the place, but because it was blocked by My fog is more focused on the fog that fills nature as well as the roads, traffic here must be careful, especially the uphill road, even though if you can take photos, the mountain scenery here is very beautiful, with natural forest expanses, and also cool air It's starting to feel different from our hometown, which has warm weather, here because it's already on the mountain road, even though it was already noon, but the sun didn't feel hot.
After passing through a foggy road, we arrived at an area where there were people's houses, I was able to take photos from a motorbike because I was riding with a friend, and I could take pictures freely. Here the road can be seen clearly, it can also accelerate a little faster the speed of the motorbike, on the left and right you can see residential areas, and there are also those who sell various garden products, including fruits such as oranges, passion fruit, Dutch eggplant, avocado, strawberry, durian, and others, as well as a variety of vegetables from local gardens, including cabbage, pumpkin, bitter melon, potatoes, tomatoes, and others. Here there is also a source of water that comes from the nearby hills, the water is clean, clear and cold, there is a shelter in the form of a large jar, according to local people, this area is called the Guci Hill.
Far away there is also a valley with views of residential areas, I stopped to take pictures, I use a smartphone camera, so the photo quality is not as good as DSLR cameras, or other types of digital cameras, but I don't want to miss taking pictures.
Our journey continues, passing through the road that is presented with mountainous natural scenery, with good asphalt roads, after traveling for almost two hours with winding roads and climbing and descending hills, and we are almost at our main destination, namely water. Puteri Pintu waterfall is really festive, we have arrived at the entrance gate to the Puteri Pintu waterfall attraction, here there is a very large coffee plantation, almost every corner has a coffee garden, because the Gayo highland area is famous for the largest coffee producer in Indonesia. , also the coffee beans here are exported to foreign countries, the people here also grow various vegetables and fruits in the gardens which of course are mostly in hilly areas, the beautiful nature with cool air is one of the destinations for domestic and foreign tourists to visit here, also because here it relies on the types of natural attractions, be it waterfalls, hot springs, freshwater lakes, views from the top of the hills, and there are also several caves that are visited by many tourists every weekend.
After passing the previous road, we arrived at the parking lot, we parked the motorbike, and it was free, and I haven't stopped photographing the natural scenery of the hills while on the way, we were a little closer to the peteri Pintu waterfall, but we had to go down the stairs, because the waterfall is located in a valley between the hills, we went down the stairs, I imagine that when we go down we don't feel tired, but when we come home, we must feel tired climbing these many stairs, our steps continue to move, and here we can see coffee trees on the cliffs of the hills, indeed in every corner of the land is used to plant coffee plants.
We arrived at the bottom after descending the stairs, on the road we passed there was a canopy aimed at beautifying the location and also sometimes if it rained we could take shelter here, here can also be a location for selfies, but I didn't do that.
In the next photo, we can see the peteri Pintu waterfall from a distance, we have to pass a path and beside it there is a stream of water from the waterfall, in the suni the forest is still beautiful, with big trees, the coolness is getting stronger, and the sound of the waterfall the more it sounded, the six of us continued down the road, there is a bridge there made of wood, we have to be careful crossing this bridge because the wood is rotting, under the shade of the trees there is also a place to rest if we want to eat or something else, there is also a room take a bath there, previously in front we had to pay for the entrance ticket, this is a distribution for the place, the entry ticket price for the six of us is IDR 15,000 or 1 HBD.
And finally we arrived at the waterfall, under this waterfall there is no river or pond because this waterfall does not fall directly down, but plunges through rocky sloping cliffs flowing rapidly downwards, because of that there is no pit that is usually found in under the waterfall, this is one of the differences from other waterfalls, I want to take a closer look at this waterfall, and also take a close up photo, so I have to go up, there is a path there, but I have to be careful because the road it's slippery, after reaching the top I can take a closer look at this waterfall, can also take a picture of it, this waterfall has two levels, the highest is the first level, and I saw this water falling from the top of the hill between the trees, maybe there is a small river at the top of the hill, but we can no longer climb there, because the hill is very steep, after about an hour at this place and taking a lot of photos even though using a smart camera phone, but that doesn't dampen my enthusiasm. I want to show you one of the tourist attractions in my province, namely the province of Aceh, Indonesia, and in my province, especially in this Benar-Merry district, there are still many other tourist attractions that I will visit in the future, and in other places that are no less interesting presents natural scenery and other interesting things.
I am very grateful to those of you who have visited my post, although there are still many shortcomings, both photo quality, and writing, because I use a translation application from Indonesian to English, I do not have the ability to speak English, I apologize to all of you, and got here first from me, we'll see you again in my next post.
