Hi everyone! How are you feeling today? I hope you are all well and safe. This is my first blog here in Pinmapple. I hope I could make friends with all of you here.
For this blog, with great excitement, I will be sharing how my heart was left in one of the beautiful beaches in Northern Cebu, Philippines.
As I was browsing my Facebook newsfeed, a memory appeared. It is exactly a year ago when we took a short vacation at Bermuda Beach Aquatica (formerly known as Bermuda Beach) in Bakhawan, Daanbantayan, Cebu.
It was a family bonding, a three-day of de-stressing from the buzz and noise of the world. The place was very private, the fact that we stayed there exclusively.
What made me fall in love with the place?
What I love about the place is its wider ground full of Bermuda grass which was giving us the idea to have some camping and picnic set-up.
It also has a swing which you can sit on while enjoying the scene. More than that, it gives a picturesque view which everyone loves.
It also has Talisay trees which offer shade and shelter during sunny days.
It has an outdoor area for cooking and grilling. Visitors are allowed to bring appliances and things for cooking if they prefer making their food since the market is just an eight-minute ride away.
They also have air-conditioned rooms with double deck beds, best for accommodating everyone in our family. It is spacious.
What completes the room is its stunning glass doors, perfect for taking selfies and photos.
And now, look at the wide beach! Isn't it captivating? Isn't it inviting?
From the blue waters to its fine white sand and dunes formation during low tide, it is beautiful. Who on earth could resist the view of this place?
But wait, there's more to come! Take a look at the perfect view of sunset in the area. Looking at the sunset, listening to the splashing sounds of waves as they kissed the shore, feeling the cold breeze as it gets a little darker - what a fantastic feeling it is! It is not only romantic. It is breathtakingly adorable.
I was thrilled after reading the Facebook memory post. I search the beach and now it carries its new name - Bermuda Beach Aquatica. What usually comes with a new name is a better version of something. With that being said, I can't wait to visit the place again and witness how time brought better changes there.
How to get there?
By Public Transportation. From Cebu North Bus Terminal, take a bus going to Daanbantayan. It takes approximately 3-4 hours of travel. Tell the bus driver to drop you off at Bermuda Beach Aquatica. It is easy to locate because it is just along the highway.
By Private Vehicle. Navigate through Google Maps or Waze.
Looking back on the past is inevitable. It makes me want to relive the special moments I have created with people whom I held close to my heart. It makes me want to travel back to the times when I feel the most alive, the happiest, and the most content. The feeling keeps haunting me. (Insert background song Memories by Maroon 5).
To end this, I believe that we can always look back and reminisce while being gratefully present in the moment.
