Hello, Hivers! How are you? I hope and pray that everyone is doing great today. For today's posting, I will take you with me as we randomly decided to visit one of the fast-rising tourist destinations in the municipality of Tuburan, Tuburan 360!
Last Monday, since it was a holiday, we decided to go to the city to purchase a television set for the house. We roamed around SM Cebu past 11 in the morning and yet, we weren't able to pick one. The store didn't have any stock of our choice. What they have was only for display. Since I still have to go home and he had to go back to the city for work the next day, we decided to just proceed to our next appointment and cancel the purchase plan. Anyway, I, even without television, am all good in the house.
We ordered our lunch at KFC at about 1 in the afternoon and had to wait for 30 minutes.
We are mutually connected when it comes to random things and even making random decisions. So when he decided to traverse Transcentral Highway to avoid traffic congestion, I agreed right away. While we were talking about random things, (see how random we are, hahaha) something popped into my mind. I suggested that if we still have time, we could visit Tuburan 360. It has been one of the trending and most visited spots where tourists flocked into. And luckily enough, he affirmed.
THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED NO MORE
We reach Tuburan past three in the afternoon. I was excited when I saw the signage going to Tuburan 360. Upon entering the intersection, I noticed that the road is narrow, not to mention the number of vehicles and people walking by the road.
We learned that they were about to celebrate their town's fiesta the day after. So that explains the crowd. After 10 minutes of traveling, we happened to come across several motorcycles and vehicles which we assumed from the destination we are about to reach. The road less traveled before has now become the busiest to traverse. As we go on, the road becomes a little more challenging. It seemed that we were always on our way up.
You will be thrilled by the blind curves, narrow, steep, and winding roads.
Since we happened to pass across a number of vehicles, we assumed that the area was not that crowded anymore. Moreover, it was four in the afternoon, so we were expecting a lesser number of visitors there.
After 30 minutes of traveling, finally, we reached our destination.
And look!
The area was still crowded, inside and outside alike. The parking area was full. I was dropped at the entrance and he had to find somewhere to park the vehicle. I went in, roamed around, and took photos the best way I can amidst the extreme heat of the sun, amidst the huge crowd.
I learned later that Gov. Gwen Garcia, Governor of Cebu Province, was here minutes ago because of "Suroy-Suroy Sugbo" (the official tour of Cebu Province participated by the government officials and personnel). I think that added the volume of the crowd, not to mention it was a holiday too.
Despite the large crowd and the extreme heat of the sun, I could still appreciate the beauty and grandeur of the place.

It offers a 360° view of the lush green surroundings and mountains. The area was built to cater to the needs and the likes of the tourists (food, location, ambiance, nature, and view).
I wanted to enjoy each and every corner of Tuburan 360. I wanted to try what's on their menu. I wanted to take the best photos of myself strolling in the area. I wanted to capture every detail of the place. But my introverted self got scared.
I was content when I had taken several photos there. I was okay spending a couple of minutes roaming around and got my senses entertained by the view.
Time was ticking so I headed back to the vehicle.
It was a random decision to go there, a short visit and perhaps a not-so-perfect-timing to go there for we have to brave through a large crowd. But amidst all these, that was worth it. The road is challenging but we managed to arrive and leave the area safely. The view is indescribable, spectacular, and breathtakingly beautiful.
My colleagues plan to go there and I still count myself in because I think Tuburan 360 is worth another visit.
If you plan to visit the place, from North Bus Terminal, ride a bus going to Tuburan. Motorcycles for hire are available in the drop off area. Through private vehicles, set your Waze or Google Maps. Signages were placed for easy locating of the area.
This is all for today's blog. Be well. Be safe. Until the next writing.
