Logan River Parklands is about 30km south of Brisbane's CBD and not quite halfway to the Gold Coast. The park was not at its best today. We have had a lot of rain and humidity recently, and this park regularly floods.

You can see why it floods as the Logan River wraps around it.

Anyone fancy a swim?! Not that inviting and probably still quite dangerous with all the dirty, muddy runoff from upstream.

Art work and river bank regeneration work.

You can see how high they had to build the bridge to deal with the flooding.

It was the first time parkrun could use this course in over a month due to the flooding and flood damage. We even scored a nice rainbow while we were running - that has to be a good sign. That is me in the orange vest on the right. I was running as a volunteer pacer.
