On our never ending quest for new parkruns, we were up early again chasing our NENDY 'nearest event not done yet'. It is fun heading off exploring seeing how other communities do there parkrun and what there courses are like. We usually try and do coffee and breakfast afterwards with the volunteers and locals as well as seeing what else is worth checking out near by.
Heading west out of Brisbane, early morning and the traffic is light.
So other than the nice sunrise we got a little rainbow.
The 4 Ps trails.
A love lock rail.
Table Top mountain from Picnic Point lookout.
Checking out and finding the start area.
These Cicadas can make a loud annoying noise.
Some of the course was single track.
The council works at the waterfall area meant parkrun was operating on a course B because of the disruption.
The nearby play grounds.
photo credit of me on this two lap to parkrun course to the parkrun volunteer photographer.
Some of the singlet tack down in the valley.
The locals don't have back fences in these parts to get the most of the views. I really had to keep my eye out of the orange course marker to not get lost in some ones back yard.
This is there course B. I believe course A goes down into the Valley more.
Two new parkruns in a row great for my tourist stats but I can feel the yard work building up at home.
The parkrun photo square, not sure who's bag is in it.
Table top mountain from the car on the way back down the mountain and heading home.
You can just make out the big blue flag at the top where we were just running.
