After our short time in Boston, we drove to our first Airbnb at Cape Cod. We stayed there with a total of 6 persons and it was a dream house right next to the bay.
We unpacked and went to a local bar to enjoy some drinks. We also danced way too long and I was a little hungover the next day. We all needed some great coffee and I went to a local roaster called Three Fins Coffee:
For lunch, we headed to a local seafood place and I basically ordered everything from their menu:

The food cured the hangover, however, we thought that a long walk would help us as well. The Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge was a great place for this and it was mating season for the horseshoe crab. Here are my impressions:
We stopped at a supermarket before going to our Airbnb and I cooked dinner:
The next day, we went to a beach and enjoyed the sun for a while. The others wanted to stay there, however, I drove to Provincetown. It is a lively and colorful town with many little shops and restaurants:
This time, we had some barbecue at our Airbnb for dinner:
Sadly, this Airbnb was booked out for the rest of the time and we had to move to another house. Before going there, we went to the highlight of this trip: Whale Watching! It was like a five-hour trip on the boat and we saw whales and dolphins! I got a bad sunburn, but it was worth it. I would recommend wearing a hat.
This was our new Airbnb:
We just enjoyed the rest of our stay without doing anything specific. Here are some impressions:
I had to fly home a little bit earlier than the others. The business lounge at the airport in Boston was amazing:
There will be more journals about trips in Germany and Europe coming up. My next trip to the USA will be in October and I am revisiting Austin!
Best wishes
