[ENG/ESP] Nevada en Pico el Águila - Collado del Cóndor | Mérida Venezuela

Hoy me hace mucha ilusión compartir estas fotos con vosotros porque llevaba 5 años seguidos yendo a Mérida - Venezuela y no había tenido la suerte de conocer la nieve hasta que llegó el día, mi sueño se hizo realidad sin salir de mi país, estando aquí en Venezuela. Me alegró que por fin llegara este momento y aquí está este hermoso pasaje de Mérida vestido de blanco.

Today I am very excited to share these photos with you because I had been going to Merida - Venezuela for 5 years in a row and I had not been lucky enough to know the snow until the day came, my dream came true without leaving my country, being here in Venezuela. I was glad this moment finally came and here is this beautiful passage of Merida dressed in white.

Viajamos de Maracay a Mérida, nos instalamos en la posada, ese día solo cenamos no pudimos salir al pueblo porque estaba lloviendo, llovió toda la noche y por suerte para nosotros era temporada de nieve en el lugar, así que nos levantamos temprano a las 5:00 am mi familia y yo nos preparamos para iniciar nuestro recorrido, cuando salimos a desayunar el dueño de la posada donde nos hospedamos nos dice: Cuando llueve toda la noche puede ser que caiga nieve...

we traveled from Maracay to Merida, we settled in the inn, that day we only had dinner we could not go out to town because it was raining, it rained all night and luckily for us it was snow season in the place, so we got up early at 5:00 am and my family and I were getting ready to start our tour, when we went out for breakfast the owner of the inn where we were staying tells us: When it rains all night may be that snow falls...

En ese momento solo pensar que por fin íbamos a cumplir nuestro sueño nos emocionó, la temporada de nieve en Mérida es entre julio y agosto así que nos fuimos directo a nuestro destino, y así fue como llegamos al Pico el Águila, con una vista mágica, magnífica, maravillosa y no lo podíamos creer.

At that moment just thinking that we were finally going to fulfill our dream made us excited, the snow season in Merida is between July and August so we went straight to our destination, and that's how we arrived at Pico el Aguila, with a magical, magnificent, wonderful view and we could not believe it.

Todavía recuerdo la emoción que sentí ese día al ver el Callado del Cóndor, pico el águila cubierto de blanco, lo perfecta que es la naturaleza y el hermoso paisaje que siempre nos regala a mi familia y a mí. No había nada más que el lugar y nosotros... estábamos atónitos, totalmente enamorados de la espectacular belleza que nos rodeaba, realmente una sensación inexplicable.

I still remember the emotion I felt that day when I saw the Callado del Condor, the eagle's beak covered in white, how perfect nature is and the beautiful landscape that it always gives us, for my family and me. There was nothing else but the place and us... we were stunned, totally in love with the spectacular beauty that surrounded us, really an inexplicable feeling.

No fuimos los únicos que se deleitaron con la nevada, otras personas se dieron a la tarea de hacer un muñeco de nieve, se respiraba la alegría y satisfacción de este regalo que nos dio la naturaleza, sin duda Mérida es uno de mis estados favoritos en Venezuela, es mágico, hermoso, acogedor y muy inolvidable... Estoy muy feliz de vivir en un país que tiene muchos lugares hermosos para visitar y que tiene las 4 estaciones del año.

We were not the only ones delighted with the snowfall, other people took the task of making a snowman, you could breathe the joy and satisfaction of this gift that nature gave us, without a doubt Merida is one of my favorite states in Venezuela, it is magical, beautiful, cozy and very unforgettable... I am very happy to live in a country that has many beautiful places to visit and that has the 4 seasons of the year.
