Hi everybody. How are you? I hope you are all right. Oh yes, for almost 90 days, I was blacklisted by hivewatchers. It was scary and I realized I had made a mistake. However, a few days ago, I was free from the blacklist. During my sentence, I realized my mistake. I regret having done that. I am determined not to make the mistake again.
Oh yes, I have provided a story when I visited Onrust Island, a few months ago. You know, if I ever visit Onrust Island. On the island, there is a museum called the Onrust Archaeological Park. This area is also managed by the Jakarta Maritime Museum. Then, what is contained in the museum?
In the museum, there are remnants of buildings from the VOC occupation. In this museum, there are several miniatures and stones from the 17th century. One of them, was a shipyard, a Warehouse to accommodate some trading commodities, at that time. Oh yes, this museum was originally a Hajj Quarantine from 1911 to 1933. In fact, in 1940 the museum you visited was once a prisoner of the Germans. Then, after Indonesia's independence, what did this place become?
This museum was once a hospital and quarantine for infectious disease patients from 1960 to 1965. In addition, this place was once a shelter for homeless people and beggars too. What an extraordinary story from this island. Finally, in 1972 this island was made a historic and protected island.
The museum here also stores objects that have a history of the founding of this island. Even Onrust Island has been named the center of the Thousand Islands Archaeological Park. One of the historic discoveries on Onrust Island was found in the Bastion of pentagonal bastion on the north side of Onrust Island. There is also a miniature of rust island in this museum. Then, black and white photos, ancient cannons, and others.
Here's my story about the places I visited. I hope you like my story. I still have many stories to share with you. See you in my next story. See you.
