Hi everybody. How are you? I hope you're okay. I want to tell you about an interesting place. that h? I visited the museum again. It tells about how youth changed civilization and helped Indonesia's independence. It is commemorated with the youth Pledge agenda. This place is the Youth Pledge Museum
Did you know that the youth pledge is the first journey to realize an independent Indonesia. The youth pledge was held on October 28, 1928 in Jakarta. This museum is for the trip. The following are various collections of relics at the time related to the youth pledge.
This building is the home of Sie Kong Liang which was founded in the 20th century. It is rented by students at STOVIA (I have reviewed about STOVIA) for residence and study. Who else lives here? They are Muhammad Yamin, Soerjadi, Hidayat and other youths from other parts of Indonesia. They made one big agenda, namely the youth pledge.
This building saves a lot of history during the youth pledge. This place bears witness to the long process of formation and spirit of Indonesian independence. What's in the museum?
This is the violin w.r supratman. Why is this fiddle here? This violin accompanies the song "Indonesia Raya" when it is first played. The violin is 36 centimeters long. The violin is the icon of this museum. How not, the violin was the only violin that accompanied the Indonesian national anthem when it was first played at the youth congress. This museum is made of three types of wood, namely teak wood from the Netherlands, maple wood from Italy and ebony wood from South Africa.
INPO stands for Indonesische Nationale Padvinderij Oganisatie. This has great historical significance because it is a symbol of two fairly large youth organizations in Indonesia at that time. As a recognizable symbol, this flag is quite large and is red and white in color.
WR Supratman is the composer of the song Indonesia Raya. The song means a lot to Indonesia. And now it is an Indonesian obligatory anthem. At every major celebration in Indonesia, especially state celebrations, the song is played. We all never know when the song was made, but it was played at the pledge of Indonesian youth. WR Supraman means a lot to Indonesia. So in this museum, the statue of WR Supratman is the icon.
Who is Mr. Soenario's professor? Why are idols here? He is one of Indonesia's meritorious people. He violated the youth oath representing youth unity for Indonesian independence. In addition, he always defended Indonesians who were dealing with the Dutch colonialists. Most importantly, he was the founder of the Indonesian national party in 1927. He also made the political manifesto of the Indonesian meeting on the principles of solidarity and freedom.
