Hello travelers, Merry Christmas Eve to all, I hope you are having a great adventure.
In the heart of the beautiful little town of Cubiro, in the state of Lara in Venezuela, there is a small, dimly lit square in honor of the Liberator Simón Bolívar. This urban space is a fundamental part of its history and culture. I do not know the year it was founded, as there was no plaque with that information or anything similar, but it is a historic site that could not go unnoticed.
What I liked most about the square is that it has many trees of different sizes, but most of them provide abundant shade over much of the square. In addition, the trunks are painted white and red to add color and life to the green areas. At the time of my visit, there was a very pleasant cool breeze and the sky was partly cloudy. Four paths with caico flooring led me directly to the center where Simón Bolívar stands.
The statue of Bolívar is a little different from others I have seen elsewhere in the country, as it is not just his bust or his entire body, but almost a third of it. It is painted black rather than bronze and stands on a base covered with brown tiles. It is very simple but still conveys the significance and legacy of the Liberator.
Some animals were able to walk freely around the square, such as dogs. It is a place for the whole family to enjoy, although it was almost empty in the afternoon. I'm sure it fills up with people and becomes livelier in the evening, but I really liked the peaceful atmosphere I felt while walking around it. Although it is an urban space, it blends harmoniously with the beauty of nature and the sound of the leaves on the trees.

Hola viajeros, feliz vispera de Navidad para todos, deseo se encuentren viviendo una gran aventura.
En el corazón del hermoso pueblito de Cubiro, en el estado Lara en Venezuela, se encuentra una tenue y pequeña Plaza en honor al Libertador Simón Bolívar, este espacio urbano forma parte fundamental de su historia y cultura, desconozco el año en que fue fundada pues nos se encontraba alguna placa con dicha información o algo semejante, pero es un sitio histórico que no podía pasar desapercibido.
Lo que más me gusto de la plaza es que tiene muchos árboles de distintos tamaños pero que la mayoría cubren de abundante sombra gran parte de la misma, además los troncos se encuentran pintados con blanco y rojo para añadirle color y vida a las áreas verdes, para el momento de mi visita había una brisa fría muy agradable y el cielo se encontraba parcialmente nublado, cuatro caminerías con pisos de caico me llevaban directamente al centro donde se encuentra Simón Bolívar.
La estatua de Bolívar es un poco distintas a las que he visto anteriormente en el resto del país, ya que no es solo su busto ni su cuerpo completo sino casi un tercio del mismo, esta pintado de color negro y no en bronce, se encuentra puesta sobre una base forrada con cerámicas marrones, muy simple pero sigue manteniendo el significado y el legado del Libertador.
Algunos animales podían caminar libremente por la plaza, como era el caso de algunos perros, es un lugar para la recreación de toda la familia, aunque durante la tarde se encontraba casi vacía, seguramente por las noches se llena de personas y de mayor alegría, aunque francamente me gusto mucho la paz que sentía mientras la recorría, aunque es un espacio urbano se une armoniosamente con lo hermosa de la naturaleza y el sonido de las hojas en los árboles.
