Good afternoon, friends and world travelers.
Every year, the Maracaibo Botanical Garden is covered in yellow with the flowering of the Curaries, which usually occurs during the months of March and April. However, this year there was an atypical and partial flowering in February, which seemed like an excellent opportunity to visit.
Admission to the Botanical Garden is $2 for adults and $1 for children over 4 years old. Adults over 65 and children under 3 are exempt. There is ample parking for vehicles, and the garden is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Once inside the garden, its paths are covered in beautiful greenery, where you can breathe clean air far from the noise of the city, connecting with the sounds of birds and the branches of the leafy, tall trees when the breeze blows. From afar, I could begin to see the incredible Curaries filled with abundant yellow flowers.
Curaries are trees from the same family as Araguaney and Apamate. They have flowers of the same color but vary in size and flowering season. In the case of Curaries, the flowering season lasts 3 to 5 days, but on this occasion it lasted approximately 10 days because it was not a total but a partial flowering, with the trees activating according to the amount of rain that fell in the area.
In the Botanical Garden there is also a small pond that looks like a large natural mirror reflecting the beauty of the trees, with some lotus flowers in the water. Many visitors were picnicking around it and enjoying the magical nature.
The Curaries covered the ground with an incredible yellow carpet, just like the dry branches of other trees that are adorned with beautiful flowers. We walked along paths until we were tired, with the Curaries as the main protagonists.
As we were about to leave, I noticed a curious tree whose seeds, when they fall, open up like white flowers that adorn the grass in the Botanical Garden. Forests are undoubtedly full of beautiful details that bring us joy.
Once again, I was able to see the Curaries in bloom for the second year in a row. I hope that life and adventure will bring me back next year to enjoy their yellow flowers again.

Buenas tardes, amigos y viajeros del mundo.
Cada año el Jardín Botánico de Maracaibo se viste de amarillo, con la floración de los Curaries, por lo general la misma ocurre durante los meses de marzo y abril, pero este año se presentó una floración atípica y parcial en el mes de febrero, me pareció una excelente ocasión para visitarlo.
La entrada al Jardín Botánico es de 2$ para los adultos y 1$ para los niños mayores de 4 años, quedando exentos los adultos mayores de 65 años y los niños menores de 3 años, cuanta con un amplio estacionamiento para los vehículos y su horario de atención es de 8:00 am a 5:00pm viernes, sábado y domingo.
Una vez dentro del jardín sus caminos se visten de un verde muy hermoso, donde solo se puede respirar aire limpio y alejado del ruido de la ciudad, conectando con los sonidos de los pájaros y las ramas de los frondosos y altos árboles cuando entra la brisa, desde lejos podía empezar a ver los increíbles Curaries llenos de abundantes flores amarillas.
Los Curaries son árboles de la misma familia del Araguaney y del Apamate, tienen flores del mismo color pero varian en cuanto a su tamaño y temporada de floración, en el caso de los Curaries es de 3 a 5 días, pero en esta oportunidad fue de unos 10 días aproximadamente, debido a que no fue una floración total sino parcial, los árboles se fueron activando según la cantidad de lluvia que caía en la zona.
En el Jardín Botánico también hay una pequeña laguna que parece un gran espejo natural que refleja la belleza de los árboles, con algunas flores de loto dentro del agua, muchos visitantes se encontraban a su alrededor haciendo un picnic y disfrutando de la mágica naturaleza.
Los Curaries vistieron el suelo de una increíble alfombra amarilla, al igual que lagunas ramas secas de otros árboles que se dejan vestir por la belleza de sus flores, caminamos por senderos hasta que nos cansamos donde los Curaries eran los principales protagonistas.
Cuando casi nos íbamos a casa me pareció curioso un árbol que cuando sus semillas caen, se abren como si fueran flores blancas que adornan la grama en el Jardín Botánico, los bosques sin duda están llenos de bellos detalles que nos llegan de alegría.
Una vez más pude ver el florecimiento de los Curaries, por segundo año consecutivo, espero que la vida y la aventura me traiga el próximo año nuevamente a disfrutar de sus flores amarillas.
