El mirador de Coquivacoa es ese espacio ideal que ofrece una gran vista a la panorámica del norte de la ciudad de Maracaibo así como un reflejo impetuooso y lejano del gran lago de Maracaibo de nuestra ciudad que forma el mas bello contraste con los rayos del sol que se reflejan en sus aguas, justamente recibe su nombre de Miradpr Coquivacoa haciendo referencia a que podemos mirar, observar y detallar la majestuosas aguas del Lago de Maracaibo, justamente en una Colina que esta subiendo por Valle frío por la Avenida Milagros se dispone este lindo mirador.

The Coquivacoa viewpoint is the ideal spot offering a magnificent panoramic view of the northern part of the city of Maracaibo, as well as a distant reflection of our city's great Lake Maracaibo, which forms the most beautiful contrast with the sun's rays reflecting off its waters. It gets its name, Mirador Coquivacoa, from the fact that we can look out and observe and admire the majestic waters of Lake Maracaibo. This beautiful viewpoint is located on a hill that rises up Valle Frío along Avenida Milagros.

Recientemente fue restaurado para poder ser un espacio único de contemplación de su gran vista el viento que hace desde este punto es realmente fantástico e increíble sin duda alguna toda una aventura fascinante donde el viento refresca nuestro rostro cansado, a su vez podemos observar los detalles interesantes que posee esta plaza mirador que son relevantes en importantes para aquellos amantes de la historia de nuestra localidad que radica de manera importante lo que somos, de donde venimos y hacia donde vamos, esta plaza esta elevada atraves de la escalera en la cima de la Colina.

It was recently restored to become a unique space for contemplating its magnificent view. The wind blowing from this spot is truly fantastic and incredible, without a doubt a fascinating adventure where the wind refreshes our tired faces. At the same time, we can observe the interesting details of this viewpoint square, which are relevant and important for those who love the history of our town, which is deeply rooted in who we are, where we come from and where we are going. This square is elevated by a staircase at the top of the hill.

En todo el centro del mirador hay un detalle realmente interesante que es, un arco que se roba el protagonismo del lugar a parte de la vista al Lago justamente debajo de este arco hay un detalle realmente fascinante que es la esposa de Alonso de Ojeda que es quién se encontraba llorando simulando el llanto de la mujer en la tumba de su amado, este arco es hermoso puesto que se encuentra elaborado en piedras antiguas de las cuales están hechas muchas de las edificaciones con muchos años de nuestra ciudad, sin duda alguna bastantes hermosas a su vez posee bases blancas, que sostienen el arco y le dan un toque antiguo, historia a la vez de elegancia.

In the centre of the viewpoint, there is a really interesting detail: an arch that steals the show from the view of the lake. Just below this arch, there is a truly fascinating detail: the wife of Alonso de Ojeda, who was crying, simulating the tears of the woman at the tomb of her beloved. This arch is beautiful because it is made of ancient stones, which are used in many of the old buildings in our city. It is undoubtedly very beautiful, with white bases that support the arch and give it an antique touch, combining history with elegance.

Este arco es una réplica del arco de la Iglesia San Francisco, en ese umbral se enterró su cuerpo en 1515 el Capitán Alonso de Ojeda por eso es que este arco busca escenificar y dar un homenaje al Capitán donde su esposa Isabel llorando encima de su tumba, definitivamente toda una obra de arte maravillosa.

This arch is a replica of the arch of the Church of San Francisco, where Captain Alonso de Ojeda was buried in 1515. That is why this arch seeks to dramatise and pay tribute to the Captain, with his wife Isabel weeping over his grave. It is definitely a wonderful work of art.

Ahora bien podemos ver distintos relieves de arte que expresan en manera de arte todos los indígenas que llegaron primeramente a nuestra ciudad podemos en la parte izquierda entrando, como se encontraban bautizando a un Indígena ya que inicialmente en nuestra tierra llegaron los españoles y estos fuerón los impulsores de la fe católica también del Sagrado Bautismo, a su vez vemos distintas chapas en bronce de Proceres, que formaron de nuestra independencia, todos estos cuadros tienen encima el escudo del estado Zulia, todos hacen tributos a los indígenas.

Now we can see different reliefs of art that express in an artistic way all the indigenous people who first arrived in our city. On the left side as we enter, we can see how they were baptising an indigenous person, since the Spanish were the first to arrive in our land and they were the promoters of the Catholic faith and also of Holy Baptism. In turn, we see different bronze plaques of the heroes who formed our independence. All of these paintings bear the coat of arms of the state of Zulia, and all pay tribute to the indigenous peoples.

Por último la plaza tiene bastantes flores silvestres trinitarias que son hermosas y características de nuestro lugar ya que se favorecen por el sol, calor realmente maravilloso, esta plaza es un poema que se ve reflejado en la historia sus detalles hasta el lindo contraste que tiene el piso con distintos cuadrados.

Finally, the square has many wild trinity flowers, which are beautiful and characteristic of our region, as they thrive in the sun and wonderful heat. This square is a poem reflected in its history, its details, and even the beautiful contrast of the floor with its different squares.
