La basílica menor mejor conocida como el santuario nacional de nuestra señora de coro moto tiene una arquitectura bastante moderna en un estilo brutalista, albergando en su interior el detalle mas importante el Relicario de Nuestra Señora de Coromoto, su Mariofanía la manifestación viva de la Virgen de Coromoto, ella misma deció dejar plasmadas en su propia imágenes en sus manos en su segunda aparición reposando en esta basílica y tu puedes observarla, sentir esa emoción indescriptible de verla, quién reúne cada año cientos de miles feligreses que todos años vienen a agradecer tantos favores, su relicario es totalmente dorado y posee tres altares uno central, conjunto con dos laterales, también tiene su propio museo papal en su capilla que esta situada en su sotano sin duda alguna un lugar lleno de tantas bellezas maravillosas.
The minor basilica, better known as the National Shrine of Our Lady of Coro Moto, has a fairly modern architecture in a brutalist style, housing inside its most important feature, the Reliquary of Our Lady of Coromoto, her Mariophany, the living manifestation of the Virgin of Coromoto, She herself decided to leave her image imprinted on her hands during her second apparition, resting in this basilica, and you can observe it and feel the indescribable emotion of seeing it. who brings together hundreds of thousands of parishioners every year who come to give thanks for so many favors. Her reliquary is completely gilded and has three altars, one central and two side altars. She also has her own papal museum in her chapel, located in the basement, which is undoubtedly a place full of so many wonderful beauties.
El interior de este santuario nacional es de 2.500 personas mientras que en su exterior justamente en frente alberga 50.000 personas, posee dos laterales en donde también puedes entrar ya que posee dos puertas, su altar esta como en un trono donde debes subir por la cruz en la parte superior del altar esta una hermosa cruz con diversos ventanales de colores que regalan los más hermosos contrastes, la iglesia es bastante amplia donde permite el paso de la ventilación, justamente detrás del altar hay unos hermosos ventanales en la parte de atrás, que estos también posee diversos ventanales de formas, en ambos pasillos laterales podemos encontrar diversas imágenes de Santos, papás y el símbolo del vaticano, una cruz gigantesca se encuentra colgada en la parte superior de la basilica y es bastante hermosa, dándole un sentido a este lugar en donde converge la fe Mariana de Venezuela.

En la parte izquierda del altar, podemos encontrar un momento de aparición de la Virgen de Coromoto, que es una manifestación de la aparición donde el indio Coromoto ve a la Virgen este se encuentra justamente a un lado del altar nos lleva a contemplar para poder trasladarnos a esta hermosa manifestación, con la gran frase que dice: "Vayan a casa de los blancos y pidanle que les echen el agua en la cabeza para poder ir al cielo". Estas palabras las dijo la virgen después de aparecerse al indio Coromoto, en su segunda aparición por lo que el y su familia se pudieron bautizar.

Ahora bien vamos a profundizar un poco en la historia justamente cuando pase a observar el hermoso relicario de la Virgen de Coromoto mi corazón se alegro por completo sin duda alguna vino sobre mi tantas emociones y el fue el mejor viaje del año que pude tener en mi vida, es de esas Mariofanías que son únicas en su estilo, siendo una manifestación viva de la Virgen María que durante muchos años fue sometida a muchas investigaciones científicas, sin duda alguna su aparición es muy parecida a la Virgen de Guadalupe, su paso en el tiempo a dejado cierto detalles de deterioro en la Mariofanía pero sin duda alguna no ha dejado de ser parte fundamental de nuestra fe cristiana en Venezuela.

La mariofanía es un pequeño pergamino de 2.5cm de tamaño, con la imagen de la Virgen María y el niño Jesús con numerosos detalles indígenas, una de las características milagrosas que posee es que la tinta no ha sido absorbida por el papel, la imagen tiende hacer bastante nitida, las investigaciones han permitido corroborar, que los elementos que posee la Virgen en su corona son de origen indígenas, el 08 de Septiembre la Virgen de Coromoto le deja esta aparición de ella misma en sus manos al indio Coromoto, cabe resaltar que es una de las dos imágenes físicas de la Virgen María unica en su estilo una de ellas también es la Virgen de Guadalupe.
