Orange you excited for Halloween? lol 😂 For a person like me, who loves dressing up and enjoys the annual creepy vibe, this time of the year is really something I'm looking forward to. Every year, I tried to find something to Trick or treat myself. 😂
This post, I wanted to tell you guys about the time I went to "THE" Halloween Horror Night at Universal Studio Orlando in the US in 2021. (Obviously, I didn't know about blogging on Hive yet.) It was such a big event that's been going on for many years and it's so famous that people from around the US (or even the world) travel those miles just to experience it and have a fang-tastic Halloween!
The year 2021 was the exact 30 years of Halloween Horror Nights there. They warned us not to go alone, because it's gonna be scary and skele-TON of fun.
From now own, I'll shorten "Halloween Horror Nights" into HHN and "Universal Studio Orlando" into USO.
Disclaimer : I have to apologize in advance how the photos aren't gonna be too great or clear, because it was so dark and I was on the move all the time. Still, I tried my best to explain it and always put citations on the resource that I used.
Before walking in, you'd have to walk from the parking lot/the dropped off point. Well, from here it hasn't started the HHN yet, so it still looks colorful and cute like USO on a good normal day. 😂
Here's the entrance to the park. Let's get the party startled! You can see how many people were there and it always this crowded everyday of the event.
That year I decided to dress up in a costume, which inspired by... (Pause to let you guys guess..)
...Beetlejuice! If you guess it right, let me know in the comment down below. Not too hard, eh? Here's the side by side picture to show how I tried to recreate it. I know my costume is so realistic, it's un-candy!. 😂
The reason why I chose this is because "Beetlejuice" is one of the "Haunted House" attractions that they had that year.
HHN event is the halloween event that took place inside USO, which is a theme park in the USA. The theme park has lots of attractions like rides and etc. for people to go in. In the event of HHN, Not only that those rides are still open and people can still go in, but also there's tons of "Scary and Spooky" attractions to go in. So, it's obvious to say that it's* a real spook-tacle.*
Here is the map of HHN and you'll see the "HHN attractions" of haunted houses and scarezones, installed especially for this events.
Let me show you all the vibes inside, how it looked like walking in the zones and stuff. They were just popped up there in the middle of the streets and interacted with passers-by.
Some were in their own area like this creepy spider girl, who, at all times, would be ready to jump scare you when you walked passed her.
This wooden monstress was high up there on stage looking down on us. Kudos on creating these setting and background. I'd wondered that they would just throw all this hard work away after HHN? Like it would be such a shame. But what else would this kinda thing be used for? I can't answer that myself either.
Or this stage of this masked guy putting a head back in the body. I wish I could post a video here to show you how creepy it looked on the movement, until I figured out how, this'll have to do first.
There were more of these scary people that came up and straight up scared the sh** out of you, or at least me, since I'm so easily scared. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take their picture because like I said, it was quick and super dark there. But that's why it was so good!
You know what would make the night creepier? Rain. That day, fortunately it rained only on and off all day long, so I was prepared. Everyone else too!
Looks like I have to take the haunted houses and other parts of the park into the next post. I hope you guys stay tuned as always and...
Stay spooky and creep it real, y'all! 😂
