Hello, to all my readers. Welcome to my new Blog. In my last blog, I shared my Alfredo Pasta Recipe in my style. Today I will share some glimpses of my Eid Days I spent with my Family. Right now, we are a family of 6 people at home, and everyone has their own ways of celebrating Eid.
For all my respected Hivers, just for your knowledge, let me explain about Eid in a few lines. We as muslims celebrate Eid twice a year. One is Eid al-Fitr, which we celebrate as happiness after fasting the whole month of Ramadan, which is usually of 30 days, and the other is Eid al-Adha, which we celebrate in remembrance of Allah's Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim, who gave the sacrifice of his son Hazrat Ismail in Allah's way. It teaches us a lesson of sacrifice for Allah.
Eid 1st Day
On Eid morning, people eat dessert before going out for prayer. And mostly men go to mosques for Eid prayers. But nowadays, women and children have also started going for the Eid prayer. I, along with my family, also went for it. We prayed to Allah, and then we returned home. On our return, our father gave us some cash reward as our Eid present. It is sunnah. no matter how small an amount, but it makes us happy every year we receive it.
After that, we make breakfast. This time, we made halwa puri and chickpea gravy for breakfast. I also made shakshuka for breakfast.
During lunch time, we made mutton pulao along with salad.
At night, I made some wings and a hot latte to digest the food.
and Hot Latte Coffee
**Eid 2nd day** :
On the second day, it was a bit of a boring day. It was such a sleepy day. In the evening, the guests came home and gave Eidis to all family members. We made high tea for the guests and had a great time together. We were so tired that we were unable to make food for ourselves. So we ordered burgers, fries, and a drink from a nearby food outlet. It came within half an hour. We enjoyed our food and had some gossip during dinner.
Eid 3rd Day
Now here comes the day we enjoyed most. On this day in the evening, we went out for some dessert and coffee. We went to the nearby cafe. We thought of dining in. We ordered two iced Spanish lattes and one iced mocha. We were a group of three people, along with one child. We also ordered Kunafa Pistachio Pancakes to satisfy our dessert temptations. And to our surprise, it turned out so amazing in taste. Here I am sharing some snaps of the cafe I went to in the evening.
Cafe Aesthetics:
Kunafa Pistachio Pancake:
And at the end, coffee, but I was so much into the dessert that I forgot to take a snap of my coffee, but here it is for you guys.
Iced Latte:
I just finished it in one go.
At the end, I must say that Eid brings us together. Usually, we do not get time together to spend with our families or friends. But festivals are here to celebrate our loved ones. So never miss any chance to greet your family. It's a blessing that matches nothing.
