A few days ago, I went to Dalhousie with my family and friends. We started our journey from Delhi in a travel taxi. The roads were smooth, and the beautiful views made the trip very exciting. This hill station in Himachal Pradesh is full of cool breezes and peaceful vibes that feel amazing.
As soon as we reached Dalhousie, we checked into our hotel. It was near a small valley, and the view of the mountains and trees from there was breathtaking. After resting for a while, we went out to explore Dalhousie.
Gandhi Chowk
Our first stop was Gandhi Chowk, a lively market in Dalhousie. There were many shops selling handicrafts, warm shawls, and cute souvenirs that reflected Himachali culture. We also enjoyed the famous hot Maggi and tea there. The place felt even more magical in the evening when the lights lit up the whole area.
Subhash Chowk and St. Francis Church
The next day, we visited Subhash Chowk, which is not far from Gandhi Chowk. This place was very calm, with lots of greenery around. Nearby, we found the beautiful St. Francis Church, which is quite old and built in a colonial style. The inside of the church was peaceful, and it gave us a soothing, spiritual feeling.
Apart from sightseeing, the weather in Dalhousie was perfect, and the local people were very friendly. The cold air and the beauty of the mountains made us feel relaxed and happy.
