That is why we chose to spend our summer vacation on the Montenegrin coast and enjoy everything a little, from the beach and the sea to sailing by boat and seeing its beautiful mountains and the surrounding places that surround it.
The city stretches along the entire coast of the sea, so give it a specific look because in the hinterland there are high mountains, and that is why it is called that between the mountains and the sea is the beautiful city of Herceg Novi.
Herceg Novi is also the capital of Montenegro, it has about 62 beaches, which is why it is one of the most popular summer resorts in Montenegro.
Within this city we can find various beaches, concrete, pebble or sandy beaches.
The shores and promenades are rich in diverse vegetation, an exceptional climate that has made the vegetation cover along the shores diverse.
As sailors traveled to many countries on their voyages, they also brought plants from other countries, such as Mimosa, which is of Australian origin, magnolia, which originates from North America, and a beautiful plant with large purple flowers. Here you can see one of the oldest plants in the world, Agave, which has its roots in Mexico.
One of the most beautiful beaches on the Montenegrin coast is certainly Jaz beach, although we stayed in Herceg Novi, it was inevitable to enjoy this beach, I'm not a fan of concrete beaches or large pebbles, but this sandy beach was ideal, it is also one of the longest beaches.
Jaz Beach is surrounded by untouched nature and the surrounding mountains, so all nature lovers do not miss to stay on this beach.
The promenades are always full of tourists, on the steep street promenades are dominated by restaurant to restaurant where you can have a drink or try various fish specialties and observe the beach or the beautiful green mountains that surround Montenegro.
If you don't have enough time to sit in a restaurant, you can also afford a fast food restaurant that takes them every step of the way.
My friend and I are waiting to get on the boat and observe the surroundings from the boat. For some time, it is good to escape from the urban beach, where it is full of tourists, noise and various facilities for the youngest, while adults want a little silence.
So we decided to sail the sea waters and look at the surroundings from a different perspective.
A beautiful sight enticed our views of the surroundings and the creativity of the untouched nature of the surrounding mountains, in which man also contributed to his work and buildings, various churches can be seen, smaller villages that are simply imprinted and built to a certain height in the mountains.
By boating on the open sea, you can observe the most beautiful landscapes of this beautiful place, which leave a beautiful impression.
Montenegro is one of the pearls of the Balkans, a small country with a long history, rich tradition, but what it is really proud of are its natural beauties that need to be seen and learn more about them.
For all those who like warm days on sunny beaches with endless sea, but also for those who like somewhat quieter places like the mountains, or the view from the canyon of the river Tara, which is also the deepest when surrounding the Durmitor National Park. In any case, something for everyone.
