Another summer event, summer is always full of surprises, and in small locations, where it is not even expected, I had the opportunity to watch the Carnival and photograph interesting scenes.
In the southeast of Banat is the small town of Bela Crkva (White Church), with its lakes and various events, one of the events is the Carnival, which has a tradition of 150 years.
FESTIVAL OPENING:
At the moment of the opening of the traditional procession at the festival, there is a girl on the stage who opened the festival and also represented the groups that participated. The carnival procession is characterized by exhibits and movable objects.
This festival also represents the opening of the summer season on the Bela Crkva Lakes.
The festival lasts about seven days, the whole city participates in the preparation of this festival, because the festival includes various activities such as: exhibitions, promotions or activities that correspond to the festival and the venue.
A special event at this event is the carnival procession, with exhibits that are made months in advance especially for this occasion, and in addition to the exhibits there are majorettes, as well as participants from all carnival cities in Serbia and abroad.
FESTIVAL PROCESSION:
The afternoon procession of the carnival started and below you can see how people prepared for the festival, some exhibited their imaginative themes and there were also majorettes who showed their dance.
The event was opened by majorettes who came from the city of Zagreb from the neighboring country of Croatia, with their dance.
Then we had the opportunity to enjoy a piece of Brazilian detail, the girls performing a Brazilian dance.
A reminder of Venice and the famous carnival, which is held every year in Italy, we had the opportunity to experience it at this festival as well.
An interesting detail that I really liked the unusual costumes, which were specially made for this occasion, an interesting detail that shines in the sun and reflects everything around, a mirror costume.
Here is another interesting detail and a veil of colorful costumes that are so light material that a gentle wind moved them.
Below we can see various other movable objects that were also made on the occasion of the festival, each car pulls its own movable object.
There were also elementary school students who also worked hard for this special day, they also presented their moving works, which they dragged along.
When the Carnival procession ended, we went to dinner because tents with various grilled meats were set up in the city.
All in all, a beautiful carnival event that I enjoyed.
