Last Easter Sunday my whole family went to Diteki River in San Luis, Baler. We just wanted to go out and have fun together. We did not expect that it would be this happy and memorable. When we arrive the sun was shining bright and the air was so fresh. You could smell the trees and the clean water. It felt really good right away like all our stress and tiredness just went away.
Diteki River is really beautiful. The water is so clear and it has a nice blue green color. You can even see the rocks and sand at the bottom. The water flow is just right not too strong so it’s safe but just enough to be fun. Around the river are big trees and green mountains. The view is really nice. Even if there were many people it still felt peaceful and relaxing.
When we got there we saw that so many other families and groups came too. The place was really full! Some rented huts some put up tents and others were cooking food. Lots of people were swimming and playing in the water. You could hear laughter talking and music everywhere. It mixed with the sound of the flowing river. It was so lively and happy everywhere.
You could really feel the holiday vibe. Everyone was smiling and excited. It was nice to see everyone enjoying them selves. Some were taking pictures some were eating and everyone looked happy. The place was busy but it was good. You can really tell that this is a favorite place for many people to visit especially during holidays.
But the best part was seeing how much the kids enjoyed it. As soon as we put down our things they ran and jumped into the water. They were chasing each other playing with floaters and toys and having so much fun. They did not get tired even after staying in the water for hours. Every minute was full of laughing and shouting because they were really happy.
Seeing them happy made us happy too. That is honestly the best feeling. They swam everywhere and even played with other kids there. It was good to see them making friends and just enjoying. They loved every splash of water and every moment under the sun. They did not even want to get out of the water when it was time to eat.
We did not just swim though. We brought food and had a picnic near the river. While eating we just watched people and enjoyed the view. There were also vendors selling snacks and drinks so if you forgot something or got hungry again it was easy to buy. It felt like one big group—even if we did not know everyone people were nice and friendly.
Everyone was just there to have fun and be careful. Some even helped each other carry things or find space. It was really nice to see. The big crowd shows that many people love this place especially during holidays. But even if there were so many people it did not feel too crowded or tight. There was still enough space to move around and sit down.
Everyone was in a good mood so the whole day went smoothly. No problems, just fun and good vibes. As the day went on we just enjoyed every moment. We took many pictures played games and just talked and laughed together. Moments like this make you realize how important family is. Away from work and school, just being together is special.
When the sun started to go down the sky turned orange and pink and the river looked even prettier. We knew we had to go home but nobody wanted to leave yet. We packed our things said goodbye to the river and went home. Even though we were tired and our skin was hot from the sun our hearts were full of happiness and thanks.
Spending Easter Sunday at Diteki River was the best way for our family to bond relax and enjoy nature. We are sure we will come back here again soon. The place is beautiful the experience was amazing and the memories we made will stay with us forever. If you are looking for a nice place to go Diteki River is really recommended.
