Hi there!
Last Saturday, I went with my dog for a short walk to check out the nearby little dam called Pocheň (Czechia). How was it? Read on to find out😉
Out of the village now.
Doggie enjoys views of fields sprinkled with snow.
The temperature is slightly below zero, so he must be wearing that.
Three deer does grazing on the field over briar bush.
Damn! The dam is filled with water of stream Čižina again. We will go bathing here in the summer.
Doggie must explore the area.
He notices green grass and starts eating it immediately. So tasty!
Time for posing.
Thickness of the ice is still insufficient for ice skating. Hopefully it will come.
Now a few past visits of this place. This one was shot back in January 2021. The dam was empty as they were excavating tons of barium-contaminated soil out of there. You could see stream Čižina flowing through the dam.
This one was shot back in fall 2019. Doggie is looking right on the greeny dam.
Believe it or not, this was taken a decade ago (2011).
And this one is even 2 years older (2009). That doggie just resembles the current one (there are some obvious differences like tail). We took him on a paddle boat. He must have loved it! 🤣
(Do not be worry, that doggie had lived very long life - 17 years).
And back to reality. Time to wash dirty paws.
That is end of the story. Thank you for reading this post. If you like it, stay tuned as more cool stuff will definitely come 😁 Don't forget to check out my Pinmapple profile to see all places I have visited on the map! See you on the trail😉
