Hello all and welcome to my blog :)
How is everyone?
The cold weather has hit our country with full force, bringing along a flu that caught all of us at home off guard. Only the cat and the rabbit managed to escape 😊
I rarely get sick but this year I couldn't escape it (basically a week before the end of the year). So today I come here to talk a little about Marseille in order to remember warmer and sunny days. We got a good deal and went to spend two days there!

The radiant sun welcomed us as we arrived, filling the day with promises of adventure and discovery. We chose to begin our journey at the heart of the city, in the picturesque Le Vieux Port de Marseille. The salty scent of the sea and the bustling activity of fishermen and fishmongers created a lively and authentic atmosphere.

We decided to take a boat tour to explore the sparkling waters and capture breathtaking views of the coastal city. While sailing, we caught sight from afar of the majestic Fort Saint Jean and the iconic Château D'If. The sight of these historical landmarks left me eager to explore them up close.

We disembarked and headed towards Fort Saint Jean. The grandeur of the walls and the history embedded in each stone were tangible. The interior of the fort revealed tales of bygone times and offered magnificent views of the blue sea that stretched as far as the eye could see.
Next, I crossed over to Château D'If, immortalized by Alexandre Dumas in "The Count of Monte Cristo." The opportunity to see where once they housed prisoners ignited my imagination, immersing me in the pages of history.
We also saw the Palais du Pharo, an imposing palace with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The majesty of the building and the panoramic vista were simply captivating.
On the second day, we saw the Cathédrale Sainte-Marie-Majeure, a stunning architectural masterpiece that exuded an aura of serenity and spirituality. The richness of details and the solemn atmosphere provided a moment for reflection and admiration.

While exploring the city center, we passed by the UndARTground Concept Store at Place Léon Blum. This unique store offered an eclectic mix of contemporary art and exclusive products, a true celebration of local creativity.

Before departing, I made a point of visiting the imposing City Hall, a symbol of governance and history. Its imposing architecture and significance for the city were evident in every detail.
Marseille left an indelible mark on me. Each place I visited told a unique story, revealing the rich cultural heritage and the stunning beauty of this enchanting coastal city. This brief visit was only an introduction to the vast array of treasures that Marseille holds, leaving me with a fervent desire to return and explore more of its wonders.
See you around.
Wishing you much peace and health
