Once I stepped off the plane, I could feel a blast of desert heat.
Fortunately not for long, the air conditioning at the airport is strong. It’s afterall the best airport in the world. The airport's sleek design is impressive - all glass and steel.
Following signs to the exit, I passed duty-free shops and cafes. Everything's clearly marked in Arabic and English.
At the exit, I hit a snag. Pulled out my phone to order an Uber, but the app showed no pickup locations. Ride-sharing's not an option here.
Luckily, there's a well-organized taxi stand right outside. Joined the queue and was in a cab queue with plenty in line.
