Today I bring you a very charming post because I am going to visit my family in the center of Portugal and at the same time I am going to show you many beautiful places that you can visit if you come on vacation to the central region of the country! my father-in-law has a "vacation" house in the small town of Tabua let's say it's an hour and a half from Lisbon, it's a very isolated area with beautiful landscapes with this introduction I made with my drone I show you my father-in-law's house and the Mondego river, which is famous because it crosses some districts, make yourself comfortable and enjoy my experience!🍍🧭🚙
Hola amigos viajeros! hoy les traigo un post muy encantador porque voy a visitar a mi familia en el centro de Portugal y al mismo tiempo voy a mostrarte muchos sitios bonitos que puedes visitar si vienes de vacaciones para la region central del pais! mi suegro tiene una casa de "vacaciones" en la pequeña ciudad de Tabua digamos que es a una hora y media de Lisboa, es una zona muy aislada y con lindos paisajes con esta introduccion que hice con mi drone te muestro la casa de mi suegro y el rio Mondego que es famoso porque atraviesa algunos distritos, ponte comodo y disfruta de mi experiencia!🚙🛫🚩🌄

Over time I learned not to judge a place by its appearance because they end up surprising me with many secrets and I think that's how I named Tabua a city that has less than 3000 inhabitants but stands out for its character, Tabua belongs to the district of "Coimbra" recently Discoveries of archaeological remains dating back to Roman times were made and it was concluded that the Romans inhabited this city for many generations! the "Roman Bridge" is one of the main tourist attractions of Tabua along with the church: "Midões".🧭🍍🙇♂️
Con el tiempo aprendi a no juzgar un sitio por su apariencia porque acaban por sorprenderme con muchos secretos y creo que asi bautize a Tabua una ciudad que tiene menos de 3000 habitantes pero se descata por su caracter, Tabua pertenece al distrito de "Coimbra" recientemente se hicieron descubrimientos de restos arqueologicos que databan de la epoca romana y se llego a la conclusion de que los Romanos habitaron por muchas generaciones esta ciudad! el "Puente romano" es una de las principales atracciones turisticas de Tabua junto con la iglesia: "Midões".🧭🌷🤩

Before arriving in Tabua I made a short stop at the Rio Mondego, this is a "must see" because there are many activities you can do in this area, from fishing to kayaking on the river! some take boat rides and others like me fly our drone to find the best landscape images! If you have time you can also go hiking! there is a famous trail that ends at a viewpoint where you have the best view of the river! easy to get to, free, and you have space to park your vehicle!🌄🚩😮🌲
Antes de llegar a Tabua hice una pequeña parada en el Rio Mondego, esta es una "visita obligatoria" porque hay muchas actividades que puedes hacer en esta zona, desde pescar hasta andar en kayak en el rio! algunos dan paseos en botes y otros como yo volamos nuestro drone para buscar las mejores imagines de paisajes! si tienes tiempo tambien puedes realizar senderismo! hay un sendero famoso que termina en un mirador donde tienes la mejor vista del rio! facil de llegar, gratis, y tienes espacio para estacionar tu vehiculo!🌊🌏🌼

One of the experiences that Tabua has to offer you is that it is a very isolated city, the nearest hospital is 40 kilometers away, therefore it is an environment for people who love nature who want to spend a very intimate and peaceful vacation! near here is the famous "Serra de estrela"💙
Una de las experiencias que tiene Tabua para ofrecerte es que es una ciudad muy aislada, el hospital mas cercano esta a 40kilometros, por tanto es un ambiente para personas amantes de la naturaleza que quieren pasar unas vacaciones muy intimas y socegadas! cerca de aqui se encuentra la famosa "Serra de estrela"🌎
Our intention is to visit my father-in-law who was in this area taking care of a relative, so we took the opportunity to say hello and have lunch together, it is an area rich in minerals and that is why there is a lot of exploitation of mining resources, in addition to being an area rich in farming!👨🏫🚙🌄

To get to Tabua we must go through the parish of Castelo de Penalva, which has to offer you this beautiful church that was built in the 17th century and also the remains of a castle with an excellent landscape, the third photo belongs to a set of tombs that They were discovered in the 19th century and it is believed that they were a civilization prior to the Romans!🚩🏛🕍🕍
Para llegar a Tabua debemos pasar por la freguesia de Castelo de Penalva, que tiene para ofrecerte esta linda iglesia que fue construida en el siglo XVII y tambien los restos de un castillo con un excelente paisaje, la tercera foto pertenece a un conjunto de tumbas que fueron descubiertas en el siglo XIX y que se cree eran una civilizacion anterior a los romanos!🏛🚩🕍

After visiting the Church we went to the ruins of the castle, which as you can see is only the base of it! dates back to the 1055 century and was built by Fernando I imagine almost a thousand years of history, it was a military structure that intended to keep the Spanish troops away and before that the Arab tribes! I think that in addition to learning a bit of "general culture" we love the view! you get to see the whole village of Tabua and Mangualde😮🚩🧭🏰
Luego de visitar la Iglesia fuimos a las ruinas del castillo, que como puedes ver solo quedo la base del mismo! data del siglo 1055 y fue construido por Fernando I imaginate casi mil años de historia, fue una estructura militar que pretendia mantener alejadas las tropas españolas y antes las tribus arabes! creo que ademas de aprender un poco de "cultura general" adoramos la vista! consigues ver toda la aldea de Tabua y Mangualde👸🤴

The first thing that caught my attention about the city center is that it has its modern touch and you can find anything here! therefore you are not completely isolated from the world! of course towards the center surroundings the story changes! However, here you can make a stop to see its church, which is very beautiful.😮😮
Lo primero que llamo mi atencion sobre el centro de la ciudad es que tiene su toque moderno y puedes encontrar cualquier cosa aqui! por tanto no estas completamente aislado del mundo! claro hacia los alrededores del centro la historia cambia! sin embargo aqui puedes hacer una parada para conocer su iglesia que es muy bonita🧭🕍🏠🌄
One of my favorite parts of these "mini vacations" is that we drive a classic his father has a 1976 mercedes and it was too funny because since they don't have "power steering" you have to move the steering wheel a lot to cross xD, a great car that has power to climb the mountain!🤣😅
Una de mis partes favoritas de estas "mini vacaciones" es que conducimos un clasico su papa tiene un mercedes de 1976 y fue demasiado comico porque como no tienen "direccion asistida" hay que mover mucho el voltante para cruzar xD, un gran carro que tiene poder para subir la montaña!😁😂🚘

Our last stop was at one of the most luxurious hotels in the area, it is located in the middle of nature and was previously a vineyard, a night here should be around 275 euros, of course it is worth every penny because it is amazing!💙
Nuestra ultima parada fue en uno de los hoteles mas lujosos de la zona, se encuentra en medio de la naturaleza y anteriormente era un viñero, una noche aqui debe rondar los 275 euros, claro vale cada centimo porque es asombroso!🌎
