One of the main tourist attractions in Merida is the Mucubaji lagoon, it is a natural protected area with a large lake that is located on the way to Bolivar Peak, one of the highest mountains in the country!🚌🚐🚎🚄

There is a small town that was built in the 16th century, very visited by tourists for its beautiful history, it is called the town of mucuchies, it is famous because there is a unique breed of dog in the world!😍😎😘

Very few know but Venezuela has an ice cream parlor with Guinness record, they have more than 1000 flavors of ice cream that are exhibited daily, the only ice cream parlor in the world with ice cream flavored with meat, seafood, between 25 to 30 different daily flavors every day!💛💚💙🍧🍨

I can tell you that traveling through this city and knowing it all you can spend less than 500usd the main town is the starting point for a jeep that you can go to different places such as the Sierra Nevada!

Something that surprised me here is the large number of plants that exist in a unique, diverse landscape! that for example here in portugal we don't have!☀💧❄🌲🌹🌼🌻

Merida is known for trout farming, basically it is trout farming in controlled pools! in the house that rents there was a trout farm near me!🧆🥘🐟🐠

we rented this house for 5 days, it was very cheap 20 dollars per day! and we were very close to the tourist sites of Merida!🚃🏡
