Summer is approaching in the northern hemisphere. As the summer season approached, everyone was excited and people began to look for beautiful places to go on vacation. Today I would like to introduce you to one of the most beautiful holiday villages of Datça, one of Turkey's corners of paradise. Please say hello to Hayıtbuku. :)
Kuzey yarım kürede yaz ayları yaklaşıyor. Yaz mevsimi yaklaştıkça da herkesi bir heyecan sardı ve insanlar tatile gidebilecekleri güzel yerler bakmaya başladılar. Bugün sizlere Türkiye'nin cennet köşelerinden biri olan Datça'nın en güzel tatil köylerinden birisini tanıtmak istiyorum. Hayıtbükü'ne merhaba deyin lütfen. :)
Hayıtbükü is located at one of the westernmost ends of Turkey. On the one hand, it is a small and modest place, but on the other hand, it is a charming and beautiful place to be called magnificent. It is a bay very close to the center of Datça town in Muğla, only 20 km away, but almost all of this 20 km distance is made up of bends. When you complete the bends, you enter a truly magnificent piece of geography.
Hayıtbükü, Türkiye'nin en batı uçlarından birisi konumunda bulunuyor. Bir taraftan küçük ve mütevazı fakat öte taraftan muhteşem denilecek kadar şirin ve güzel bir yer. Muğla şehrindeki Datça ilçesinin merkezine çok yakın, sadece 20 km uzaklıkta bir koy ama bu 20 km mesafenin neredeyse tamamını virajlar oluşturuyor. Virajları tamamladığınızda gerçekten muhteşem bir coğrafya parçasının içine giriyorsunuz.
Now let me briefly touch on how we discovered Hayıtbükü. While planning a holiday with my family last year, we wanted to go to an economical and enjoyable holiday destination. One of the few good alternatives we came across was Hayıtbükü Bay. Upon the recommendation of the family of one of my favorite students, we decided to stay in a stylish holiday village called Suzi's Garden. After talking to the owner of the business on the phone, we agreed and set off from Ankara in August, and reached Datça and Hayıtbükü at the end of a 750 km journey. This journey we took with our own vehicle was really tiring. We even had to go to the gas station and sleep in a place we approached Muğla. But it was worth it in the end that we had to go through the hassle.
Şimdi Hayıtbükü'nü bizim nasıl keşfettiğimize kısaca değineyim. Geçen yıl ailemle birlikte tatil planı yaparken hem ekonomik hem de keyifli bir tatil beldesine gitmek istiyorduk. Karşmıza çıkan birkaç iyi alternatiften birisi de Hayıtbükü koyuydu. Sevdiğim bir öğrencimin ailesinin verdiği tavsiye üzerine de burada Suzi'nin Bahçesi isimli şık bir tatil köyünde kalmaya karar verdik. İşletme sahibi ile telefonda görüştükten sonra anlaştık ve Ağustos ayı gibi Ankara'dan yola çıkarak 750 km yolculuğun sonunda Datça'ya ve Hayıtbükü'ne ulaştık. Kendi aracımızla çıktığımız bu yolculuk gerçekten çok yorucuydu. Hatta Muğla'ya yaklaştığımız bir yerde benzin istasyonuna çekilip uyumak zorunda bile kaldık. Ama sonunda bu zorluğu çektiğimize değdi.
Suzi's Garden, where we went to stay, was a holiday village built on 3000-4000 m2, consisting of about 10 bungalow houses. Some of these bungalows were for 2 people and some for 4 people. While there was a large grassy area in the middle of the garden, its surroundings were completely covered with olive trees. Shortly after meeting the friendly operators and packing our belongings, we went down to the beach, which is within walking distance.
Konaklamak için gittiğimiz Suzi'nin Bahçesi yaklaşık 10 adet bungalov evden oluşan 3000-4000 m2 üzerine kurulu bir tatil köyüydü. Bu bungalovların bazıları 2, bazıları da 4 kişilikti. Bahçenin ortasında büyük çimlik bir alan bulunuyorken çevresi de tamamen zeytin ağaçlarıyla kaplıydı. Sıcakkanlı işletmecilerle tanışıp eşyalarımızı yerleştirdikten kısa bir süre sonra hemen yürüme mesafesindeki plaja indik.
There are 20-25 pensions and restaurants on the beach of Hayıtbükü, and you can swim in the area in front of each business. There is no sunbed fee for those who stay or eat in these establishments. We ate something at a restaurant we sat on recommendation and went to the sea. Hayıtbükü's sea water is very beautiful and makes you feel really enjoyable. On the other hand, it would be difficult to say that the service of the restaurants on the beach is very good. Most of the beach operators do not understand this business and sometimes they do not pay any attention to the quality of the food they bring. So if you are coming here, do not go beyond the standard dishes, if possible, do not eat anything other than pancakes. Because everything except the pancake is of mediocre quality.
Hayıtbükü'nün plajında yanyana 20-25 pansiyon ve restaurant bulunuyor ve her işletmenin de önündeki alandan denize girilebiliyor. Bu işletmelerde konaklayanlar veya yemek yiyenlerden şezlong ücreti de alınmıyor. Biz de tavsiye üzerine oturduğumuz bir restoranda bir şeyler yedik ve denize girdik. Hayıtbükü'nün deniz suyu çok güzel ve gerçekten keyifli hissettiriyor. Öte taraftan sahildeki restoranların hizmetinin çok iyi olduğunu söylemek biraz zor olur. Plaj işletmecilerinin çoğu bu işten fazla anlamıyor ve kimi zaman getirdikleri yemeğin kalitesine hiç dikkat etmiyorlar. Yani buraya geliyorsanız standart yemeklerin dışına çıkmayın, mümkünse de gözlemeden başka bir şey yemeyin. Çünkü gözleme dışındaki her şey vasat kalitede.
After spending time swimming, sunbathing or sipping something during the daytime, as the sunset approaches, the waves begin to slowly start in the sea. The best thing to do during these hours is to walk Hayıtbükü along the beach and take lots of photos. Because the natural atmosphere of Hayıtbükü is truly wonderful. Everywhere you turn your head, you see a different beauty and you are fascinated. You definitely have to experience it.
Gündüz saatlerinde yüzerek, güneşlenerek veya bir şeyler yudumlayarak zaman geçirdikten sonra gün batımı yaklaştığında denizde yavaş yavaş dalga başlıyor. Bu saatlerde yapılabilecek en güzel şey Hayıtbükü'nü sahil boyunca yürümek ve bol bol fotoğraf çekmek. Zira Hayıtbükü'nün doğal atmosferi gerçekten bir harika. Başınızı döndürdüğünüz her yanda ayrı birer güzelliğe gözünüz çarpıyor ve büyüleniyorsunuz. Bunu kesinlikle yaşamak lazım.
Suzi's Garden, where we stayed, was just inside Hayıtbükü beach and we were chatting here until we went back to the garden after dark. During the five days we stayed, we spent most of the daytime at Hayıtbükü beach. We were also able to go to nearby coves such as Ovabükü and Palamutbükü. During this time, we went to the center of Datça one night and spent time on the beach of Datça. It was a very productive time for us. I would recommend anyone visiting Datça to see Hayıtbükü beach. Bizim konakladığımız Suzi'nin Bahçesi, Hayıtbükü plajının az içerisinde bir yerdeydi ve hava karardıktan sonra bahçeye dönüp yatana kadar da burada sohbet ediyorduk. Kaldığımız beş gün boyunca gündüz vakitlerini genelde Hayıtbükü plajında geçirdik. Yakınlardaki Ovabükü ve Palamutbükü gibi koylara da gidebildik. Bu süre zarfında bir gece ise Datça merkezine gittik ve Datça sahilinde vakit geçirdik. Bizim için oldukça verimli bir zaman dilimiydi.
