Since I will only talk about the Büyükçekmece district of Istanbul in this article, let me explain the history of the city very briefly and briefly. Istanbul, MS. It was the capital of the Roman Empire first, then the Byzantine Empire, and finally the Ottoman Empire, and remained the capital for a total of 1600 years. Bu yazıda İstanbul'un sadece Büyükçekmece ilçesinden bahsedeceğim için şehrin tarihini çok kısa ve özet olarak anlatayım. İstanbul, M.S. 300'lü yıllardan beri başkentlik yapan bir kent. İlkin Roma İmparatorluğu'na, sonra Bizans İmparatorluğu'na ve en son da Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'na başkentlik yaparak toplamda 1600 yıl başkent kaldı. The biggest problem in the city is the heavy traffic problem. It is not possible to go anywhere comfortably in Istanbul at almost any hour of the day. Your long hours are spent in traffic. Chaos prevails, especially during the morning commute and the evening return from work. This koas has deepened in recent years. Even the subways, metrobuses and ferry services to everywhere are not enough to reduce the density in traffic.

Özellikle sabah işe gidiş ve akşam işten dönüş saatlerinde tam bir kaos hakim oluyor. Bu koas son yıllarda iyiden iyiye de derinleşti. Her yere yapılan metrolar, metrobüsler, vapur seferleri bile trafikteki yoğunluğu azaltmaya yeterli gelmiyor.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic has emerged, people's preference for their own vehicles has increased the traffic density a little more. Therefore, trying to live in Istanbul is very challenging, especially in this respect. I don't have this problem much since I travel from Ankara to Istanbul for a few days only as a tourist attraction, but for my friends there, these things have turned into an ordeal.
Covid-19 pandemisi ortaya çıktığından bu tarafa da insanların kendi araçlarını daha çok tercih etmesi trafik yoğunluğunu bir miktar daha artırdı. Dolayısıyla, İstanbul'da yaşamaya çalışmak özellikle de bu açıdan çok zorlayıcı. Let me also talk about Büyükçekmece, whose photos I shared in the context of this article. Büyükçekmece is one of the busiest districts of Istanbul. It is located right on the shore of the Sea of Marmara. Büyükçekmece Lake, which gives its name to the district, is also here and feeds the Marmara Sea. There are beautiful landscapes in Büyükçekmece Lake every season. Even though March is a bit cold, the seagulls and fishing boats in the lake look magnificent.

İlçeye adını veren Büyükçekmece Gölü de burada ve Marmara Denizi'ni besliyor. Büyükçekmece Gölü'nde her mevsim çok güzel manzaralar oluşuyor. Mart ayı biraz soğuk olsa da göldeki martılar ve balıkçı tekneleri muhteşem görünüyor.
In the area outside Büyükçekmece Lake, there is a classical Istanbul chaos. Fairly wide roads, heavy vehicle traffic, congested houses, etc. depresses the soul. He also has a very busy business life and everyone is trying to get somewhere. I can't say there is too much joy on people's faces. Those who come to the city as a tourist are more enjoyable than those who live in the city. :) Everything is like stuck in a meaningless maze. But the unique beauties of Istanbul make all this bearable.
Büyükçekmece Gölü'nün dışındaki alanda ise klasik bir İstanbul karmaşası var. Oldukça geniş yollar, yoğun araç trafiği, sıkışık evler vb. insanın ruhunu daraltıyor. Ayrıca çok yoğun bir iş hayatı var ve herkes bir yere yetişmeye çalışıyor. İnsanların yüzlerinde çok fazla bir neşe olduğunu söyleyemem. Turistik olarak şehre gelmiş olanlar şehirde yaşayanlardan daha keyifli. :) Anlamsız bir labirentin içine sıkışmış gibi her şey. Ama işte İstanbul'un eşsiz güzellikleri bunların hepsini katlanılır kılıyor.
This was the first piece of what I was going to write about Istanbul. I will try to show another face of Istanbul at the first opportunity. This city is not enough to tell. Do not die without seeing Istanbul at least once. It is worth seeing despite all its confusion. :)
