Hi bloggers and community. Today I want to share my experience visiting the city of Binjai in North Sumatra, which takes 30 minutes by train from the city of Medan.
We traveled by train. Upon arrival, we headed to a place a little far from the center of Binjai called Kakuta, a beautiful tourist spot with views of green and vast rice fields.
When you arrive at the place, you will find a coffee shop. This place also has accommodation facilities and a venue for semi-outdoor weddings. We came when the weather was not too hot. Upon entering the area, we found it to be very spacious with green rice fields surrounding it, greeted by yellow Alamanda flowers along the corridor.
We ordered tofu dishes for breakfast at the time. Eating under the trees with such natural scenery, far from the city’s noise, created a calming atmosphere with the cool breeze blowing.
There is also a swing set here that brings back memories of swinging in the sun and wind. For me personally, visiting places far from the hustle and bustle of the city with green natural scenery like this is one of my favorite weekend activities.
It might be better to visit this place in the afternoon, when you can see the beautiful orange sky as the sun sets over this green landscape. Although the journey was a bit far, it was very memorable and enjoyable.
