The walk into the woods—
So today, I’m going to take you guys on a journey to the woods above my village called “Banoni”. The term “Banoni” is derived from the Hindi word Ban which means Jungle. This is a place right in the middle of the Jungle. It is quite near to my village, so it’s a perfect morning walk spot. We also on a little land in this part of Jungle, so it also fulfils our duty of monitoring our property.
As you can see in the photograph above and also in the photograph below, this place doesn’t have any proper house, but there are many small sheds and little cabins made in the middle of the woods for various purposes. Some people use them as stores, but some people use them to host the Nepali people who come to this village in the Apple season time.
These cabins are just enough for a family of three, not more than that, but in spite of that the Nepali people who come here in the season time they can adjust even three families in this little space. They like to stay together, and they like to cook together after a day of hard work. It was so early in the morning, this time that even they were busy in their daily chores.
The sun was slowly rising, and the morning sunlight was falling on the forest land. Everything was really tranquil as you can see in the photograph too. The golden colour hue of the sunlight was scattered all around in the forest and it was looking mesmerising.
The first ray of hope—
This photo is my favourite one from the whole bunch. As in this photo, you can see the sunlight directly falling on the camera. The sun was looking really beautiful, and the warm sunlight was making everything alive around us.
Now we reached the place where we had our land in between the forest. This little patch of land that you can see in the photograph below is owned by us, and we had planted plum trees in the forest bed.
The growth of the plum tree is quite good, but during the season time, the plums usually gets stolen by the monkeys living in the forest, but this time we decided to keep a watchman here.
You can see in the sidelines that there is a little hut. This hurt is dedicatedly Is there for Nepali family who takes care of this property. In future, we are deciding to make a treehouse here because of the tall trees that are all around.
The design of the treehouse is under progress nowadays, and in a couple years, the project will be complete. I’m planning to list those treehouses in Airbnb.
I sat there for about half an hour and enjoy the warm sunlight and the really beautiful sunrise. I also did a little bit of yoga and meditation there as it was so peaceful and there was no one to disturb me.
The walk back home—
After about 45 minutes, it was time for me to get back to my home as it was getting late, so I started walking back towards my home that was about 15 to 20 minutes away from this place.
Just in about five minutes, I reached my village Road, which will further lead me towards my home. In the woods are just about five minutes away from the main road, and it’s quite convenient to reach there. It’s at the perfect distance away from the civilisation near to the civilisation at the same time.
I am posting some really beautiful photographs below for you guys to enjoy which I took on my way back to the main road. These photographs are mostly of the tall pine trees that were all around in the Jungle.
It was a really clear day that day with no sign of any cloud in the sky. As you can see in the photograph that really tall canopy of these trees, really look beautiful in this clear sky.
I reached back home after 20 minutes of walk, and it was a perfect morning walk that would keep me energised for the whole day.
Thank you all for passing by. That Is it for today.
Peace ☮️
