Namaste š
Hope you all are doing great!!!
This blog is going to be the continuation of my last blog so if you havenāt been through that one yet, Iāll be posting the link below-
So here I was, on the other side of the world after being on the back of the mountain and into the deep unexplored realm of the Himalayas, I was now slowly entering the more known region of the Upper Kullu Valley. I was now on top of the Shegli mountain and can see the whole valley beneath me.
Reaching the top of the Shegli Mountainā
It suddenly felt like we were transported to a different world and a completely different dimension in just matter of a few minutes. A few minutes ago we were struggling to ride our motorcycle on the frozen muddy road with snow on sides of it and now we were in middle of this beautiful wide valley with warmer weather.
The change of the weather is quite dramatic considering the similar elevation. The weather change is only due to the presence of sunlight in a particular region. In my previous blogs, you can see the darker areas and clouds all over the place but here, all you can see is the very pleasant light and slowly fading evening hues all around the valley.
We were literally on the top of the valley now and we could see tens of villages beneath us. The villages were looking like ants walking on the ground as you can see in the photos below.
The secluded house made in heavenā
While we were getting back to our village in the middle of the valley, on our way we came across this heavenly looking house made on the edge of the cliff overlooking the view of Himalayas and the whole Upper Kullu Valley.
It felt just like a heaven in short!!!
Just look at this!!! What more can be in heaven. This just feels like pure visual representation of heaven. Imagine living in this house on the top of the most beautiful valley of India. What else can one expect out of heaven. No doubt that is place is called a heaven on earth.
Way down we go!!! ā
Now it was just a sharp decline in elevation from here onwards and our motorbike was racing super fast on the top of the mountain in this curved mountain road.
We could see hundreds of houses below us as we passed through the little road on the top of the mountain. We could literally feel that we were on the top of the world while we were riding through this little Mountain Road. I must tell you that these photographs are not at all paying justice to the real experience that we were feeling at the time when we were actually doing it. Another thing is that we were so mesmerised in feeling the actual moment that in heat of which even forgot to take photographs, it was that meditative and relaxing.
This side of The Mountain was completely different than the side we were on previously because of many reasons, some of the reasons are already stated in the text above, but another reason was that there was no forest on the side of the mountain, but a little one or two trees here and their on the edge of the cliff, and they really looked so beautiful.
There were multiple layers of views that we could see from there. The very first layer was the layer of sky with the dramatic clouds in it. Then below that there was this layer of snow capped mountains with white snow that was shining bright in the evening light. Just below that, there was this mesmerising layer consisting of the lush green Himalayan Forests that filled out the green that we were lacking. Another layer below to it was the layer of the villages of the Upper Kullu Valley and the last layer was the river that flowed in between the valley. It was just like a dream.
I was so happy to see that there were trash bins here too so that people donāt pollute this beautiful place and to my surprise unlike most places in tue valley, people here were taking care of the place so much. There was no littering of the sides of the road as of now in spite of this place being road to a couple villages.
Now we were feeling that we got another hour of daylight which we couldnāt feel behind the mountain before. So we stopped here for sometime to soak ourselves in this beautiful place.
Thatās all for today.
Thanks for passing by!!!
