Hello everyone,
Today was a perfect day for an evening walk as the weather just cleared out a bit after the rain. Along with the weather, the place where I am currently living is also a perfect place for the walks like these.
This place is called village Baragran situated near Manali town in Himachal Pradesh state of India. This place is full of fields and orchids as the main occupation of the villagers is farming.
The weather was as perfect as it can be and so was the greenery of the village. Everything just looked fresh and tranquil.
People here mostly grow cabbages and apples. The place is full of trees and long fields like these.
The above picture is very special. It shows a great contrast in the colour of the alive and dead grass. It was an amazing experience walking by this orchid.
The main problem with the orchids and fields is the lack of roads. People have to work really hard to transport their fruit and vegetables from their fields to the nearest town.
I sometimes think that the lack of roads and modernisation is good in some way. Due to lack of roads and transportation, the place is so beautiful and pollution free and that’s good for this place 🙃.
Thanks for your precious time.
Love from Himalayas.
