Namaste š
Hope you all are doing great!
In this blog, Iām going to continue my journey of travelling in the Chandra Taal, wildlife sanctuary and heading towards the world, famous Chandra Taal Lake. In this blog, I will particularly be covering apart of this road that leads to the Chandra lake from where the most magnificent view of the valley can be seen.
In spite of, this road wing a broken road with a lot of sharp stones and a kind of terrain that you can only imagine your dreams, this place is as beautiful as it can be.
When you are travelling up the road towards the Chandra Tal lake from Batal you not only gain elevation, but you also come to a point in The Mountain from where you can see the view of the valley from a different perspective.
This unique landscape of the valley is formed by the glaciers and the melting glaciers over the million of years. There has been a very wide very beautiful, looking Valley in the middle of this cold desert that emerges from behind whenever you try to get towards the Chandra Lake.
It might look that this place lacks water and there is no rainfall here at this place, but it is quite opposite to that the rainfall which happens here is quite very much, but most of it happens in the form of snow and the terrain of this region is mostly because of the elevation that it has.
There are a lot of glaciers up in the mountains which are continuously feeding these water bodies throughout the year, and when you see the tributaries of the rivers, then you come to know that how beautiful it is.
At this point, we at that particular spot from where we could see the whole of the valley, and I stopped the car to capture these beautiful photographs. For you guys to enjoy. You can see these photographs below and let me know in the comments how you like them.
That is it for today.
