Hello everyone,
Today I had a really unique experience of travelling in a local bus to the Parvati Valley. It was a hell of an experience. The road was very dangerous and the view was very beautiful. It was a kind of trade off. 😅
The bus was overcrowded too. Luckily I got a seat. I was the last seat. It was a very dangerous seat to sit in. I was jumping just like potatoes and onions kept on a truck as the bus moved on this one of a kind road.
It was really a good view too. Parvati river was flowing by my side and mountains were coming and going just like stations.
It was a single lane road with very less space for another car to pass by.
As I moved on this road, the crowd decreased. The bus was full of local people. In the photograph above you can see a local woman getting out of the bus.
And here’s a photograph of a local man in local outfit coming out of the bus.
It was late afternoon time and the sun was about to set behind those beautiful mountains. It was really a golden time of the day.
Here’s one POV kind of photograph for you people. That was the view I was seeing from the last seat of the bus.
The view was also getting better as I moved up the Parvati valley. There weren’t many villages or civilisation along the way.
The road was getting narrower and more dangerous. Our bus was this close to the cliff. There was no chance of any mistake. We were completely dependent on the driver.
The driver was very trained though. He drove through there roads like a charm.
It was his daily job to drive here on these roads. He remembered all the curves and jumps of this road.
It was times when my phone almost slipped of my my hands. I somehow managed to hold it. 😅
Now I was only about half an hour away from my destination.
The bus too was almost empty till this time. You can see the empty seats in the photograph above.
As we inclined in altitude, the vegetation also changed. Now pine, deodar and other high altitude trees were visible.
This is the last photo I captured during my trip. I was in a deep forest when my battery died.😅
I couldn’t capture rest of my trip although it was only a few kilometres left.
Here’s one final photograph that I captured when I powered on my phone at the resort I booked. It was really a great place.
Through this post I tried to capture the exact experience I was having and I tried my best to show it to you people in a very primitive style.
Thanks for passing by.
Love from Himalayas ❤️❤️❤️
